I can’t access your 1.1 update because Peachtree wants to know what device the woman on p. 122, step 15 is holding. I have no clue, other than she is listening to something. Peachtree won’t let me on their site. Kindly help me out here.

Scott thanks for all of you insight and tips. I have used your printing templates in lightroom and would like to make some other ones, but cant modif the ones in lightroom. So how do you make them and how do you get them back in to lightroom? I tried Illustrator, it did not work. So any help I thank you for it. Thanks Bob Ogle

Thanks so much for the FREE update to your book!

Love the layout in the PDF, but just one suggestion…

Would you have the number of the pages for “The Original Lightroom 1.0″ side of the page to make a reference to which pages it appears on in your book?
That way I can make a note in the book to refer to your update PDF instead of wasting my time on old info…

I am at a loss and turning to you for some help. I notice that when i export my dng files as jpgs, and open then in photoshop to sharpen them, they get a redish color cast to them. I cannot figure out why. any ideas.

Book on Lightroom useful. But how can I delete folders after importing pictures after I delete the pictures inside them?

Hi, Just passed by LA and got your book. What a great investment… now learning how to really make the most of Lightroom.

Thank you for providing the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Book 1.1 update to your book. I have found it to be very intuitive. Now that adobe has released the lightroom 1.2 when will we see another update to the book ver. 1.2?

I bring your book with me so I have something to read while on the train. I have seen and read in Photoshop User magazine that you offer a darkroom magazine. In your book “The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Book on pg. 380 you say “Darkroom magazine is sent free to all U.S. NAPP members, along with their issue of Photoshop User magazine. However, if you’re not a NAPP member, you can buy a downloadable eVersion of the magazine at www.darkroommagazine.com I am having a hard to locating this magazine on the website. Can this magazine be purchased somewhere else?

Hi Scott,

This is probably the wrong place to put this but it’s something about your book that’s bugging me and I can’t find anywhere else to contact you about it.

I was really puzzled to get to page 337 and see you suggest buying songs from iTunes for a commercial presentation. It’s a great idea to buy the wedding song and like you say 99c (or rather more here in the UK) is “a pretty small investment for the impact it adds to your slideshow”. What puzzles me is that the iTunes copyright clauses expressly forbids this kind of use. No commercial use of the tune is permitted and syncing to a slideshow (even if you’re not using it to sell pictures!) is usually classed as a commercial use.

I know lots of photographers don’t really care about other people’s copyright (though seem pretty hot on their own) and use commercial tunes and I know that licensing a major artist’s song is a practically impossible but it was quite a shock to see you advocating this in a best selling book.

What am I missing?

I just heard your interview on The Digital Photography Show and loved it. I’ve had Lightroom for a while now and I have just ordered your book from Amazon. I’m looking forward to reading it. I live in Central Ohio and, after hearing Scott talk about your Lightroom seminar, really wish that you were going to be offering it around here some where. Great blog.
