I’m gonna add something that I am not sure if you have used.
I was introduced to Davids work on the Lexar site and I bought one of the snoots.

David Honl Universal Speed Snoot, 8″ Regular
I used this recently, and I found it to be a lot of fun.
It takes up no space in a camera bar and can add some great lighting effects.

Scott – I belive both of these items are recommended in your Digital Photography book, but I thought I would nominate them for your Gonzo Gadget Guide.

The Expo Disc from ExpoImaging is one of the best ways I’ve found & used to get a proper white balance “in camera” which saves a ton of time later.

Also, a great gift for anybody would be one of the ball heads from Really Right Stuff. My favorite is the BH-55.

Your new CS3 for Digital Photographers book arrived yesterday (Amazon UK) and it’s AWESOME (as expected). Just love the ‘Hollywood’ Portrait technique and the Hollywood Highlights technique too. Great stuff. Man, you’ve really put some work into this new edition … so much new stuff )

Ordered the CS3 book from NAPP and I got a message saying it was backordered. So I keep hoping that i will get a email saying it has shipped.
Looking forward to reviewing it on my blog.
But onto the topic at hand. Cool gadgets.

One of my favorites, is the Bogen / Manfrotto Justin Spring Clamp with Flash Shoe. I love these. I carry two or three with me along with a bunch of the Nikon Sb800 flashes. With these, you can set up a portable studio shot practically anywhere.

I am sure you have used and mentioned these in the past, but this is just a reminder about these great clamps.
