2007 Photoshop Hall of Fame Inductees Announced

Next week, during the opening keynote for the Photoshop World Conference & Expo, our industry will honor two inductees into the Photoshop Hall of Fame: Color management guru, author, and instructor Andrew Rodney (AKA “The Digital Dog”), along with Adobe’s Senior Director for Product Management, Professional Digital Imaging Group; Kevin Connor, whose countless contributions to the growth, success, and development of Photoshop have helped guide the application to become the amazing phenomenon it is today.

The Photoshop Hall of Fame was founded in 2001 to honor those individuals whose contributions to the art, business, and development of Adobe Photoshop have enduring value.

It’s an honor to recognize Andrew and Kevin, and to add their names to the Photoshop World Hall of Fame trophy alongside some of our industry’s most valued, respected, and bevolved individuals. My sincere congratulations to both Andrew and Kevin on your amazing achievements.

Scott, I am a huge fan and your help has really moved me along the way of digital photography. I have three of your books, Photshop Elements 5, Lightroom,and your Digital Photography, all well read, lovingly dog-eared and invaluable.
I know that you are involved in many workshops and tours and I would give almost anything to be able to attend just one hour of one…but ….here’s what I really trying to suggest…have you considered ever just taking a passionate novice and spending the day just teaching the basics? Sort of like an experiment…can I really teach someone with just a bit of knowledge how to shoot really great pictures? I’d love to be the guinea pig!

Hey Scott,

Fantastic news for both Kevin and Andrew. Geez, the list of names now in the Photoshop Hall of Fame is AWESOME, and when you know that these guys all teach at Photoshop World then it makes the trip over a necessity (think that’s how you spell it anyway :o)

Not intending to wish my life away, but ‘Roll on 2008′ :o)
