Nikon to give first public showing of new D3 and D300 at Photoshop World Expo Next Week

We’re excited to announce that Nikon will be giving the first public showing of their just-announced Nikon D3 and D300 digital SLRs at next week at the Photoshop World Conference & Expo, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
Nikon will have a special showing on the Expo floor, and if you’re not registered for the conference, you can still come and see the new gear on Friday, Sept 7th, as we open the Expo floor to the public for this one day. If you register online in advance for our “Expo Only Pass,” it’s free (if you wait and show up at the door, it’s $25).
We’re honored that Nikon choose Photoshop World to showcase their amazing new gear, and I hope we’ll see you all there!

Ha ha I got to see it already on the cruise with Dave
Funny Michael, Moose Peterson Posted on his blog while on the cruise when the new models were announced that he had never seen them. How’s that?
Michael did get to see the D3 a week ago Thursday. Moose wasn’t at the presentation on board the ship when Nikon presented. So for the record, yes both statements are correct.

Hey Scott,
I thought you had a plane to catch but instead you got to stay in Chicago
;-D
Your photography is really inspiring. Especially the fine art work that you showed us at the Lightroom Seminar. I’d like to see MORE of that on your blog.
Hey Vince and Dave!
We saw the new gear on the cruise, and were in the small group that viewed the extended presentation on the D3 and D300. I was able to hold, shoot, and explore the menus on the prototype D3. Wow, it literally includes “aircraft technology”!! We were so impressed we ordered 2 D3’s! We had a great time on the cruise, and really learned great techniques for creating emphasis in our photos. Thanks, Vince, Dave and Sean (for organizing the trip so well)!
The two new Camera from Nikon are awesome. It seems like they going after Canon in a major way and I hope Nikon surpasses them and they become the Premiere Manufacturer in SLR’s like did with the Nikon F,F2,F3,F4-6 in film. The D2 series from the D200,D2H & D2X are beautiful.
Where was the Nikon D3 show? I looked but didn’t find it!
