Hi gang:
It’s a “light” blogging day, since my class starts in about 20 minutes (We’re totally sold out for this event, and I’ve got lots of friends here today, like RC, Corey, Matt, Dave Cross, Rod Harlan, Larry Becker, and well…pretty much everyone I know. The shot above of me signing some 7-point-system books, was taken by Larry Becker).

So, the big news today is who won the iPhone.

AND THE WINNER IS…….

Randy Kashka from Lafayette, Oregon

Thanks to everyone who entered! Just remember; just because the contest is over, doesn’t mean you can’t head over to Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble.com, and buy the book. In fact, I highly recommend it. ;-)

Hey Scott. Wish I could have made it over there from West Palm Beach today! Maybe next time. Just got the 7 points book today (I pre ordered). Just did lesson 1. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I can’t believe how much info was hidden in that photo in lesson one. Brilliant approach to this book. I am really looking forward to the rest of it. Thanks for all of your hard work. You are truly a gift to this industry!

Hi Scott, it was great to be able to come to your LR class today in Tampa! Both my wife and I attended; we both got a lot out of it. Keep up the good work, and get the Epson driver issue fixed :)

Scott, what a great opportunity it was to be able to attend the LR class! Even though I am new to LR and have only gone thru “import” and the first 50 pages of your book - I was extremely happy to not feel over-my-head during your presentation. You really made me feel like I could actually do this workflow program even though I have a small amount of experience with with editing software and NO experience with Photoshop. Your tips were super and the workbook will be handy to have. Super Job! Jackie Andrews, Sebring, Fl

Hey Scott, What a fantastic day. Even though I read your Lightroom Book - I walked away from today’s workshop with even more tips and tricks that I never new about. I especially loved your print section - can’t wait to see the templates!

      Cheers,
      Laurel

I hope I don’t offend Scott by asking this question. What did you do to slim down? You look really great! Inquiring minds want to know. :-)

Scott, I didn’t get a chance to say “Hello & Thank You” for the invite to your Lightroom seminar. I found it very informative and you convinced me to give Lightroom a try. Not being a big fan of Photoshop, it looks like I’ve found the program I’ve been wanting for a long time. It was very exciting to see it’s capabilities and I can’t wait to give it a spin.

      Thanks again,

Scott: Sorry if this isn’t the proper place to ask this question, but I couldn’t find another way to contact you. First, I am a strict amateur that couldn’t process a pictures without your books for digital for photographers.

Just got your 7-point system and in doing the first two lessons I wonder why you don’t utilize selection to prevent over-painting with light or focus. I have become used to doing that way, and wonder if I am doing it wrong, or if you just don’t feel it is necessary.

Thanks for making guys like me able to love Photoshop.
