Scott, I wonder if I could get the B&H discount as a German member of NAPP. I've already thought about to become a member ... even more with the opportunity of a dicount ;-) Cheers, Danny

Scott, As a pet photographer that met you on Saturday at David Hobby's workshop, and "confessed" I joined NAPP for the B&H discount, I'm pretty sure that's me you're referring to above. I'll just verify that after a little time spent on the NAPP site, I found the benefits well worth the price. Even without the B&H discount, I'd renew my membership without the slightest hesitation. The site is an invaluable resource for any photographer. My only regret is there is more great information there than I will ever have time to absorb.

I also just received my copy of The Moment it Clicks. Part of me wants to just keep reading it until I hit the end. However, something that good needs to be savored. I'm limiting myself to four pages a day so I can fully absorb the pearls of wisdom offered on each and every page!

It was great meeting you!

Thanks for linking us to great photographers' websites almost daily. Roumagnac's website blows me away. I happen to like seeing the EXIF data (sort of like peering over his shoulder as he makes the image), but that's individual taste (see above). Nonetheless, his photographs are wonderful! He has an incredible eye - a real artist! It's amazing what he can do with situations we walk by every day. Furthermore, the technique is perfect. I'm inspired and depressed!

I have long envied the design of Julien Roumagnac's photoblog. I even tried to hire him to design a template for my site, but he isn't hiring himself out. It's funny that you mention the EXIF panel though, since that's my least favorite thing about his design. I tend to explore images online with my mouse pointer, but the automatic EXIF panel distracts me when I do that on his site.

Scott, Julien Roumagnac makes a good case for 16-bit processing versus 8-bit in the link that you have in your article. Which do you prefer and why?

Hi Scott,
"The Moments it Clicks" finally arrived. Goodness knows how long it might have been if I didn't preorder it! I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

And of course: Happy Birthday to Lightroom. V 1.0 was released a year ago today!
