To all,

http://www.magmypic.com/

I thought this would be fun for a few minutes. Or at least get you away from doing some work at the office.

You can upload your images and place it on some very popular magazine covers. such as National Geographic, People, Life, GQ, and Rolling Stone.
And then it gives you code to place it on LiveJournal,Myspace or Facebook etc.

Check it out if you liked Scott's post with you being able to post your pictures on a gallery wall.

Thanks,
Dan Francis

Your books and articles are just great.

Have a Mac ProBook laptop operating with Tiger OS X Version10.4.11. It has started displaying the icon depicting an "Orange Slice" on certain emails. I cannot figure out how to eliminate this from occurring. Could you
help me on this.

Thank you.

Hi Scott
thanks for the plug to my site and work! nice compliment from a pro/ guru like you. wondering how you found it?

My assistant, kristin, spent a day with you in Boston doing the Lightroom Tour and loved it. She came back speaking of your praises and tips and i have been using LR now for a few months and find it very robust and powerful. I really wish it were faster. Time I spend some idle hours in your blogs & tips areas honing my converting skills! i refer to your book and her notes from your class often. keep up the great work - it keeps all of us keeping up our great work! thanks again.

Scott,
I would like to take the workshop with Laurie Excell but it appears that one of the requirements is a working knowledge of Photoshop. Unfortunately, I have a "not-working knowledge" because I just haven't had the time to get a good foundation even in the basics. I'm self-taught (which is part of the problem!!) and it seems that no matter what photo workshop I look to attend, an understanding of Photoshop is required. That's one thing I miss about shooting film: workshops didn't require that you knew how to use a darkroom.

I plan to spend as much time as possible over the summer to study and learn CS3, using your books of course! Even then, I don't know that I'll have learned all I would need to know to be able to take a workshop. Could you provide any insight into what would be the best definition of "working knowledge"?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Regards,
Susan

Scott,
Thanks for the link to Chris Orwig's lecture. I'm down with a head cold today (as you were recently) and just spent over an hour watching this amazing instructor. Much better that day-time TV and I think I may have learned a thing or ten!
Peace,
Tony

I bought the Cintiq 12ux after reading Terry Whits review. I LOVE IT. The reviewer on PDN is incorrect on the resolution the tablet runs at. That should be fixed so it will not shy people away from it as it is a GEORGEOUS piece of hardware and works great!
