You have just been tagged by the literary meme <a href="http://waitingforskopelos.blogspot.com/2008/02/tagged.html" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

Btw, having found this page it will now become a must read for me!

Cheers

Scott,
I don't know if you know but the Vincent Versace video, in the intro, the audio is completely out of synch with the video.
when I first watched it I thought it was my Net connection, but I just upgraded & am now able to download at 16megs. (that's one six not 1point6) so it must be in the original MOV file

My friend Grant Rickard is a food blogger and he takes all of his own pictures. You should check out the photos from his blog, great for someone that is not claiming to be a pro --> http://www.wellfed.typepad.com/.

Hi Scott -

Thanks for the recommendation on Karen Kuehn. I called to sign up for Joe McNally's workshop and it was full already -- so disappointed as I was in a workshop where he was one of the team of instructors and have finished his book already. As you know the book is great. Anyway I hope Karen is as good as you say because I signed up for it today.

Hi Scott,

I just checked out Karen Kuehen’s website - "Mind Blowing" - talk about "Dancing with Light". If I could only make my way down to Santa Fe.

For others, check out: http://www.karenkuehn.com/

Regards,

Take a look at heritagecookbooks.com. I am currently using it to create a cookbook with photos for my grandchildren. One of the cover options is to create your own. The site is simple to use and the woman who oversees it will answer any and all questions, and pass them on to others (like the printer for photo questions) if she doesn't know the answer. Price seems reasonable. And she'll print as few as four copies.

After a few minutes of confusion with 19minutes.com (which is a typo/ad farm type site), I think you meant, 19min.com.

Scott,

I really do not see many posts on your blog about going into the photography business.

Do you have any suggestions in terms of what resources to use to get started for those like myself that have made the decision to "go legit?"

Thanks for anything you have,
Pat in Houston.
