Scott, the crossbar part of your Tripod rig is no longer made by Manfrotto. What a bummer. All sites previously selling them say "No longer available from manufacturer" and no replacement is offered on the Manfrotto or Bogen websites. Rats! :(

In your new book CS3 for Digital Photographers page (168) you offer a method of resizing to poster sized prints with a 6MP camera using 360 resolution. Can you elaborate on this formula so those of us with cameras using more or less than 6MP and different enlargement needs can try this method? In other words, what's the formula so we can use different enlargement sizes and different MP densities?

Scott,

Here's an idea for one of your miscellaneous "nuggets." Would you speak to the subject of the best way to compensate for spectacles when using your camera?

Hey Scott:

I purchased Matt's book a couple of weeks ago. It is great!! I'm still using training wheels for CS3 so all of the books have been a tremendous help.

Have fun at the conference. Wish I was going :( Can't afford it this year.

Scott,

I am a big fan of your books and I watch photoshop tv religiously (if you can believe that). BUT, your Digital Photgraphy 2 book has one minor blemish on the cover. The curiosity is killing me to find out if you know about it. The reflection of the camera onto the surface is a bit off. You can see in the reflection that the button for the depth of field preview which is on nikon cameras set just below the lens mount (which of course you know) can be seen but is not on the camera in that spot. Actually, the button in the reflection could be a number of buttons. It could be the lens release button or the assignable function button. Anyway, tiny little things like this eat away at me so I had to comment. Sorry for this not having relevance to the post! Love your show!

Thanks,
Kevin

Super informative post today. Going to the States to attend Photoshop World would be a trip of a lifetime for me, (maybe I'll be able to save the £000s some day), so the live blog is excellent news. I'll be one of your regular cyber-conferencers!

Hey Scott,

I wrote this comment last night, about this time, but it didn't post. It's nice to see that others have to be up so late to get it all done. Which is exactly what I'm doing until I leave for Orlando next week! To all of the midnight oil burners!

Scott,

I can tell you wrote this late at night... might want to fix the following sentence for posterity's sake.

"...you’ve haven’t been seen the new site..." in the first bullet point about PlanetPhotoshop.
