It’s Photoshop World Pre-Con Day!
Hi everybody. I’m here at Photoshop World in Orlando, Florida, and today is Pre-con day, so the pre-conference workshops kick off this afternoon; all the instructors have arrived; the show floor is taking shape, and the keynote stage is almost done, and well—-there’s just a lot of excitement in the air (especially when I hobble down the hallways at the hotel and other instructors see me on crutches, and break into laughter).
Don’t forget to catch Jennifer Bontempi’s live blog reports, (we just call her “J-Bon”) which starts today (here’s the link), and if you see me scootin’ down the halls, make sure you say hi, and make, at the very least, the obligatory “break a leg,” joke. It just never gets old.

I can’t believe PSW is in Orlando and I can’t attend this time! Too much work and still trying to catch up after being on medical leave. But, my heart and happy thoughts are with you and your staff at NAPP for another wonderful conference by NAPP.

Good luck with everything Scott, I am a good friend of Glyn Dewis who has introduced me to photography and photoshop. I am very much looking forward to learning tips from the man who Glyn calls ‘His Idol’ Best of luck with those crutches!!!!
Hey Scott, while I’m sitting here being jealous of everyone in Orlando, I cant help but wonder. Next year wouldn’t you love to come to sunny Southern California? Just think of it as Florida minus the sticky! Seriously how about you take a nice SoCal vacation next year and bring Photoshop World to those of us on the Left Coast !?

I wanted to make it to pre-con day but too many factors kept me from going. I will be there starting tomorrow morning until the end on Friday. I might leave the conference center every now and then to sleep but not if I can help it.
You wouldn’t need to fight off bad guys with your kick boxing skill if you kept Vanelli with you all the time. But since he has taught me most everything he knows you could just hang out with me all the time. I’ll fight off the bad guys and you fight off my lack of Photoshop skill.

I don’t know if you noticed this, but the guy in the photo from this post looks like he could be one of the Belushi brothers! Haha I thought you might find that funny, because you have a good sense of humor.
