We just posted another online class at KelbyTraining.com from Joe McNally, and this one is how to use Small Flash (off camera hot-shoe flash) in the studio and on location, and it just kicks butt!

Joe is the absolute master of off-camera flash, he’s got just an amazing way of teaching, and you see it all unfold live right in front you and you learn in such a personal way that really connects with photographers. Here’s the link to Joe’s class (you can watch a free sample while you’re there), and the list of the 20 lessons in this new class. Very cool stuff!

I have a problem and thought perhaps you can help me. When I open a file in photoshop CS3 I see a progress window which slows down the opening.
This does not appear everytime. Is there a way to eliminate this window of progress completely?
Many thanks for your early reply.

Just watched this last night. This is a fantastic series on how to use off camera flash, a must watch for the strobe enthusiast. Joe is an amazing teacher and IS the master of using flash off camera. Now I just need to run out and get a few more SB-800’s.

I watched this video a couple nights ago, and Joe McNally is a fabulous teacher. Everything was straight and to the point with clear explanations, with instant results of each lesson displayed as they happen. IMNSHO, the two classes Joe has conducted so far has been worth the annual membership for me! Keep ‘em coming, Joe!

Yet another homerun for Kelby Training- This class is a must for strobe shooters especially those who shoot nikon so you can see the exact way Joe would do it. And Joe does it GOOD

Just wondering Scott when the mini classes or small courses are going to be on Kelby Training? You said this on photoshopuser tv a couple of weeks back and sounded like a great idea.
Thanks again and keep up the amazing work all you guys do at NAPP and Kelby Training.

I just watched the whole thing straight through! Wonderful!

      Q. I am wondering what the red and green tape is for on Joe’s speedlight - anyone?

Watched half of it last night. Absolutely brilliant. Hopefully there’s some manual flash in there somewhere or in a future segment. Mr K, if there isn’t can we have one please.

Jenny, I think the red and green tape is a bit like the sea shells in Demolition Man… Or perhaps it’s so Joe know’s which group a flash is in purely by looking, that would be my guess.
