Tomorrow: The End of No-Blog Wednesday!

That’s right, starting tomorrow I’m replacing “No-Blog” Wednesday with (wait for it, wait for it…) “Special Guest Blogger” Wednesday!

Each Wednesday I’ll be featuring a special guest blogger and I’m honored to announce that we’re kicking things off tomorrow with the man who convinced me to to start “Special Guest Blogger Wednesday;” celebrated photographer and Photoshop instructor Vincent Versace (author of the award-winning book, Welcome to Oz: A Cinematic Approach to Digital Still Photography with Photoshop).

So, don’t forget to drop in tomorrow and catch Mr. Versace’s post (his topic will definitely capture your attention), and then stop by each Wednesday. I’ve already got some big names lined up for you as guests, and they’re dying to share their latest techniques, news, opinions, and insights. I’m really excited about giving this new idea a try, and I can’t wait to see what my guests come up with in the weeks ahead.

Thanks Vinny, for coming up with such a great idea; for convincing me to do it, and for being willing to kick off the inaugural Special Guest post tomorrow. Can’t wait!

I know this is off-topic, but for some reason, I could hear the voice of Barney from How I Met Your Mother when I read this. Of course, it could just be I’ve been on a marathon of older episodes of the show.

Anyway, I’m definitely waiting for the weekly guest posts!

Thank goodness! That break in the middle of the week was a bit depressing.

      Wow!
      Talk about a supercharged blog.
Your blog is one of the first things I read after getting through my morning emails. I am very excited to see what Vincent brings, I have been impressed with his insights everytime I have seen him present.
      Thanks again Scott.

      Scott,

This is wonderful news! I was going to make a suggestion you do something like this because even though you were sending us over to other quality blogs it still seemed empty. Why? Because I think it is important to continue the community that you have developed over here. Guest bloggers need to be persons that are regular readers of your blog so as to help maintain the flow and continuity of your postings and to allow for different viewpoints on topics that you have been covering.

The old “no-blog” was sorta like standing outside of your favorite restaurant with all the other regular diners and being sent down the street to another establishment for a day. The food might be good but it’s just not the same.

      Scott -

You’re investing way too many keystrokes blogging on not blogging. Vincent Versace is a great choice but get on with it ferchrisakes.

      Hey Scott the Comment Writer,
Why don’t you just get on with your life ferchrisakes! How much do you pay to read this blog? Oh Yeah, absofrickinlutely nothing! This isn’t some service that you are paying for. Scott the blog writer could talk about the effect of butterfly wing flaps on pacific win patterns if he wants to. I’m getting pretty tired of readers that think they own the content or that they should be able to direct what happens on the blog. Here’s an idea, how about you just don’t read it if you don’t like it. There are only a few million other websites for you to choose from so why don’t you just get on with it ferchrisakes!

      Hi Scott,

I hope you get this email. I tried to find your email address on your site but could not find it. So hopefully this will come your way.

      First off…

I’m a big fan of your blog! I enjoy reading it daily… even on no Blog Wednesdays! When I saw you are going to start having special guest bloggers I had someone in mind that would be great for this!

He is a photographer from Atlanta named Zack Arias. I had a chance to take Zack’s OneLight Workshop last summer and it was an amazing experience. He is a really great instructor and a really nice guy. He is doing some really awesome things for photographers and I thought that you might be interested in sharing a little about him on your blog or even maybe seeing if he would be a guest blogger. He has a DVD coming out this summer that is his workshop in a DVD format and by the previews on his blog it’s going to be great!

Zack also has some really great Lighting Tutorials on using white seamless on his blog. http://www.zarias.com

If you have a moment check out his workshop and blog!
