It’s Thursday, and that means a new class at Kelby Training, and this time it’s from the Master of Off-Camera Flash, Joe McNally. Joe’s taking things up a big notch with his class “The Next Step with SB-800 Flashes.” Here’s a link to see the complete list of what Joe covers in this brand new exclusive online class, (plus, you can watch a sample while you’re there). You gotta love that McNally guy!

Joe McNally’s on-line classes are perfect!
Are you preparing any similar classes for Canon’s flashes?

      Mihalis.

Scott - Thanks for these wonderful classes. My head has physically expanded from all of this knowledge. My wife says it’s more than just a hat rack now.

I particularly enjoy these classes that focus on the image capturing aspect rather than just the post processing.

It would be great to see more classes like this. One thing I would like see is a class that takes you through an on location portrait shoot.

Additionally, I would love to see a class by a sports photographer similar to the classes that Moose has done for the the nature photographers.

      Keep up the great work.

Great Scott, these classes are great!

And for those saying they need a canon class… all of Joe’s techniques can easily be transferred over to canon flash’s using their wireless system…

Well Scott, you just had to go and put a series of videos up with Joe right when I’m breaking into the whole Strobist mentality with my single SB-800 (will be purchasing more soon). Looks like I’ll be dropping the cash for a kelbytraining.com membership now.

Right there with ya, Jason - I too just got my first SB-800 delivered the other day, and am starting down the strobist path. I say “first” because after seeing the first two of Joe’s training classes here, and after reading “The Moment it Clicks” I will definitely be buying additional SB-600s or 800s. And Scott, you rock, man! Thanks for putting together such an amazing resource for us aspiring photographers.

Joe’s classes are fantastic! I’ve learned so much from them. I also enjoyed
David Ziser’s classes on Wedding photography. I have no interest in becoming a wedding photographer but the class had great information on using a camera mounted flash.

      Keep up the good work!

Hi, my name is Ron, and I have a problem. You see, I bought a SB-800. Then another, then another, then another… and now I don’t know how I can make it through the day without ordering one or two more. And then Kelby and McNally come out with this and now I’m on the verge of losing all self control.

      Help!

I don’t think Bed Bath and Beyond sells SB-800s (yet) but if they did, I’d sign up for their gift registry. Nothin’ but SB-800’s. By the dozens. (You listening Joseph?)
