Everyone's a critic... ha!

They are bellissimo from where I'm sitting Scott. Happen to like HDR, so February on the right would be my pick for having a similar rich depth, but then again that staircase is nice and artsie too. Thanks for sharing & hope you and your family had a wonderful vacation with some much deserved rest.

Sorry Scott, it’s just formulaic. Italy has been photographed to death and I’ve seen these images a thousand times, you’re shooting from memory and not from the heart. Show me something I’ve never seen before, this is nice but then again you’re in Italy how hard is it really? Try it again and this time, shows some of your emotion, not someone else’s.

Just a thought, surely "August" people have a "small claims" route?

Nice images Mr. Kelby.

The February picture (on left side) looks too processed, almost like HDR. That's the only one I don't like. Cheers

A great variety of subjects in your collection and a lot of "stock" material. I was going to ask you how you decided upon and found subjects to shoot that didn't necessarily require the "best" light of the day but I think the answers are contained in many of the images showing the details of daily life.

Brilliant photos Scott.
I live in Turin in northern Italy. Did you get a chance to visit? It's a wonderful city and relatively tourist free. It hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Hope you enjoyed the holiday - and especially the fantastic food.
Ciao

Being new to a lot of this, here's a dumb question: Would you need model releases from the people in the August month if you were to sell these photos (or the calendar itself)?

Really nice shots as usual. I'm a big fan of your posts. We live the Italy trip while browing your photos.
I have a comment regarding July 2009, there's an "inappropriate" detail :
Dior is a french brand, not italian ;)

Great photos, Scott. Stupid question: Did you compose the lovely off axis shots that way or discover the shots in cropping? I don't think of making static subjects come alive that way often enough.
