In total, I have been blogging for just about 9 months, although I cannot seem to get anywhere. I just keep going off on tangents, and not utilizing a plan or technique. I searched around and saw the method Blogging to the Bank. I hear terrific things about it but not certain if I am gonna buy it. I am thinking of buying this new <a href="http://www.bloggingtothebank.us" rel="nofollow">blogging system</a>, i was just curious if somebody had bought it before and what your perspective was with it.

Hey Joshua:

RC here - figured i'd help. Lokesh Dhakar made a very popular script to install on your websites called Lightbox -- now on version 2. Using the Prototype Framework and the Scriptalicious Effects Library, you can just add a rel="lightbox" tag to an image and pop it in a Lightbox window.

Go here:
http://www.lokeshdhakar.com/projects/lightbox2/

Setting it up to work on a website is -incredibly easy- and requires no coding, but If you want to see a tutorial, send us an email through the layers magazine contact page. I'm sure we can whip something up.

Thanks,

Scott - Awesome. People have to know from this blog and in all your work (especially your self interview) that you're very personal and real! Great stuff. Did I miss it or where is the Bahama portfolio? :) You're welcome to come to Guatemala, but I could not show you around. I could put you on the tourist bus to Pacaya and active volcano and you could get GREAT shots there. Only 2.5 hr flight from MIA. As a former Career PSer and Kelby Training from 96-04, I am now a stay-at-home-mom and missionary still Clinging on to my 10yr NAPP membership and love of photoshop. Thanks for keeping on being real and producing great stuff. I'll be back once these kids grow up, LOL!

Dwayne - Awesome portfolio. You might be getting more calls for tour guide! LOL - Isn't Scott and crew GREAT!

Josh - it's called Lightbox effect - search for it. I got the instructions off Dynamic Drive, here's one: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/lightbox/index.htm or the page of other effects: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/indexb.html

Hey Scott,

I'm amazed at where your job takes you. Dubai one month, Italy the next, and now the Bahamas. Incredible.

I have a website question, and hopefully you or one of your readers can lead me in the right direction. I notice that when you post pictures, the enlargement appears over the existing page, and darkens the area not in use by the picture. What are you using to achieve this effect? While I assume it's Flash, I can't be certain.

Thanks for any time spent on this,

Josh
