NAPP Launches Updated Lightroom 2 Learning Center With All New Content and Videos

On the heels of Adobe’s release of the shipping version of Lightroom 2, we here at NAPP (the National Assn. of Photoshop Professionals) have launched an all new Lighroom 2 Learning Center, with all new videos hosted by me (Scott Kelby) and Lightroom Killer Tips producer Matt Kloskowski.
Matt and I do an overview of what’s new in Lightroom 2, and we also have created separate video segments for each of the major new features (and a special feature on little improvements and cool little tweaks).
Plus, we did a special bonus video there for people who still say “Isn’t Lighroom just a replacement for the Bridge?” or “I already have the Bridge and Camera Raw, why do I need Lightroom?”

I watched the video of Bridge vs. Lightroom. I see where you’re going but I think so much depends upon the volume and workflow of a person. I use NX2 primarily for its raw capabilities. So therefore I usually use Bridge->NX2->CS3. If you’re not a high volume photographer, I still think Bridge is plenty good if you have good organizational skills.
Scott - I’m curious why you haven’t promoted the NAPP discount on the Lightroom 2 upgrade price when using the 15% coupon code at the Adobe.com store. It worked for me [thanks NAPP!] so I wanted to make sure other NAPP members were aware of it!

I was not aware of the 15% coupon for the upgrade. I have been a NAPP member for many years. Guess I should pay more attention. Had an awful time with the order. Couldn’t correct my current email address at the Adobe site. They took all day and finally canceled the order. After 5 calls I finally got the online order processed. Poor support at the Adobe store.
