That’s it. One day. Well, two if you count today, but I wasn’t counting today. Technically, you if you forget to sign up today, at least you’ll still be able to save that hundred bucks if you register tomorrow, but after that—you’re hosed (well, for an extra hundred bucks, anyway). Can you tell I wrote this while I was really, really tired?

There’s an elephant in the room that I think you are aware of. If not I thought I might point it out. So here goes … I really want to go to Photoshop World Vegas 08. Like you don’t know how bad I want to go! Photoshop World, you, Dave, Matt, Deke and the rest of the cast and of course Vegas (the ultimate playground for the ears and eyes). It’s the best spent 3 days I can imagine for a Photoshop guy like me.
So here’s the elephant … I have my own business and business has been slow. Mind you I’m not complaining and I’ve been working very hard to drum up business … got a mortgage like most of the rest of the world. I just can’t afford it. I even considered cleaning out my storage room for a grand e-bay style clearance sale. But it’s just doesn’t add up to enough.
I’m really going to miss it. But wait maybe … I have an idea for you. How about a live stream of the keynote for NAPP members? For those of us who have been to Photoshop World it would be a great way to join in the festivities. For those who’ve never been, what a great tease/taste of actually attending.
