Tomorrow’s Special Guest Blogger is…
……the co-host of the popular Layers TV, daily blogger and the man behind one of the most popular Photoshop web-sites; “PlanetPhotoshop.com,” columnist for Photoshop User magazine, Photoshop World instructor, and the one they call “The Photoshop Lad,” it’s my buddy Corey Barker.
Corey is one of our industry’s most talented artists, trainers, and illustrators. He caught our attention after he won, or was one of the finalists, in every single Photoshop Guru Award category (along with winning The Vincent Versace Award for Excellence in Digital Photography), so it’s not surprising that we asked him to join our team full time, and he’s had a huge impact, and a rapidly growing fan base, ever since. Make sure you check in tomorrow to see what “The Laddy” has in store.

Cool!! Corey rocks. Can’t wait to see what he has in store for us.
Hey Corey, when are you gonna write a book? I would love to see something along the lines of what you do at PlanetPhotoshop. Just a book packed with tutorials, that would be flippin’ sweet.
I would have to second that. Corey’s tutorials have shown me how to use photoshop (and other programs) in ways I wouldnt have thought. The creativity is so so inspiring to me. So yeah Corey, I know you’re busy at NAPP, but a book would be great! So many people would get so much out of it!
Woo Hoo!!! Lime flavored Jell-o Text for everyone!!!!
I own your book. I do not speak/read Arabic. thought you might like this flickr picture of some who likes your book.

Hey Scott - quick question??? Is Corey ever going to do a Photoshop seminar in NYC (like the ones you do - your last one in NYC was awesome by the way) - I haven’t seen his name on any of the seminar lists.
Hi Scott,
I am new to Photoshop starting with Photoshop Elements 6. I have of course ordered your book but would appreciate if you could share what you think are great Element 6 websites out there.
Hi Scott,
My post got deleted from here without an explanation. So I’m reposting. If you disagree with what I am saying can you please email me to let me know why. It was partly an attempt to calm down a mini flame war that was brewing in the comments but also some requests for guest bloggers.
Guest Posters like Matt K, Corey, Dave Cross are great but they run their own blogs and are part of the NAPP organisation and are linked off Scott’s page. While its easier to control and get these guys to post on time for here, I personally prefer it when Scott has Guest Bloggers like John Nack, Terry White, David Z etc. who while running their own blogs and are not part of NAPP and I’d like to see more of them. My own particular favourite at the moment is Zach Arias (www.zarias.com). Or more of NAPP affiliates who aren’t linked off Scotts page in the Also Check out section.
Alternatively some of the NAPP staff who don’t have blogs. i.e. the photoshop world organisers - what’s it like to organise the conference. Larry B on where he sees NAPP going, the support guys/gals on the ten most common asked questions for Photoshop, Lightroom etc.
Any chance of this?
Scott,
I was searching the web trying to find previous year’s Guru Award Winners…Other than serching through my old Photoshop User Magazines, are they posted anywhere on the web? I can only find last year’s winners…
