We had great weather on our photowalk in northern Spain, Bilbao/Getxo.
I think all of us enjoyed it to know others with the same hobby.
Thanks, Scott, for the organisation.
Greetings Thomas (Leader)

Thanks for pulling together this opportunity to meet local photographers. I was in the Greenville, SC photo shoot and it was locally well planned and orchestrated as well. Thanks for the continued education of photographic theory and application.

This was the first time my husband and I had ever done any type of photowalk. The Cary, NC walk was fantastic & the weather was perfect! The people were great and everyone seemed to have an amazing time. Thanks!
Hey Scott,
We had a BLAST at the Denver (Golden), Colorado walk. What a great bunch of people! Timothy Tonge, our leader, did a masterful job setting up the walk. We had a lot of people in Golden asking what we were all doing. We explained what the event was and they were blown away and thought it was a great idea. We had just about all the photo opportunities you could think of, flowing river, flowers, sculptures, farmer’s market, dogs/cats, old farm buildings and equipment, college campus, and an old church, which the Pastor allowed us all into to take interior shots! It was fantastic! The group was just the best folks. We had Pros, amateurs, and casual shooters. There was some talk about the group staying together and doing this once a month … I hope we do!
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to get together and share our city!
Oh, I took 168 shots!

Too bad I couldn’t make it. Can’t wait to see all the photos

Hi Scott,
we had a nice Photowalk here in Hamburg, Germany. Even though the weather was a bit rainy but hey no whining, am I right?
You made thousands of strangers worldwide come together, share their passion and have a great time. If it was just for that you could be proud of what you achieved but I think you did so much more. Just one huge example: Try and think about how many people worldwide made new friends just because of your photowalk. The emphasis is on try because i couldn’t imagine, can you?
You did a great job!
And of course thanks to our photowalk leader.
Karsten
Hi Scott….
We had a great walk in Jakarta…maybe (except for Australia) we were the first to be walking on Saturday given our time zone…Scott, it was such a great day, and photographers are the greatest people to hang out with!! We all had such a great time, we decided to make it a regular thing….so, I guess I will be organizing a few more in the future….I posted a photo of our group on my blog if you want to check it out…(just click on my name)
Thanks for lighting the fire to get this started…..a great idea!! Reminds me of the “A day in the life of…” series……would be cool to make a book with all the best images from the Worldwide Photowalk!!
Cheers,
Scotty (Photowalk leader in Jakarta)

Hi Scott,
Yesterday in Amsterdam was great! I never walked in that part of the city before and was able to make some nice photo’s. We had wonderful skies with big clouds and good weather.
It felt great thinking about all the people participating over the whole world with one common goal: making photo’s and friends. Thanks for this wonderful event.

Hello Scott;
A Photowalk is great and I hope someday you consider an expansion of this event, that gets people away from the Concrete Jungles of the Cities and into the rural areas of our Country and others.
A photo-drive may be an event many outdoor and wildlife photographers would like to see.
Photowalk was a great one here in Bahamas. We had a small group of 8 people because people are flying out and the storm was heading our way but it’s was good. Can’t wait to have the photos loaded up on the flicker group. It rained in our shoot was well but it was all good.

We had a great time walking in Portland, OR. Laurie Excell did a great job with our route, and I got some rockin’ photos! I’ve been checking out the popular Flickr tags and commenting on cool photos.
Scott….
This turned out to be a great idea; I was on Dan Ablans “Michigan Avenue” walk in Chicago. Dan did a really great job and meeting all these people was just fantastic; Sean, Frank, Andy and Jennifer, and Nikki who introduced me to “Meet Up” which hosts similar events all the time (they were having an event on Sunday was well).
Thanks! I think I can safely say we all had a blast….
Cheers…

Went on the photo walk in Ventura, CA last night. Chris Pettit had it well organized and everyone I heard from really enjoyed it. I’d like to do something like this more often. Ventura is only 30 miles from me, but I hadn’t been in downtown in the 39 years I’ve lived here. Thanks for putting it all together.
Scott - have a look what you kicked off here: walks allover North America, and as far away as Amsterdam, Hamburg, Bilbao, Malaysia, Dhakar, Jakarta, Sydney …
If you play your cards right, then this is the beginning of a global movement!
Joining the ranks of the crowd from Dan Ablan’s Chicago Michigan Ave walk. Fantastic weather, great crowd, lots to see… and fun answering the “why are there so many people with cameras” question. And it was lovely that the Gold Coast Neighborhood Association held their farmers’ market, so we had colorful still lifes… and locally grown snacks… to keep our eyes and our cameras active.
Only 364 days till the next one, right?
-Beth in Chicago
Scott,
I got to go on Nasim Mansurov’s Boulder, Colorado walk. I had a great time meeting a bunch of other really talented photographers and learned a bunch without even realizing it. I can’t wait to try it out some newly discovered tips & techniques on my next shoot. Being in a group of photographers really pushed me to try some stuff I haven’t done before. Great fun!
- Jon in Colorado
Great idea and a great time held by all. It is amazing how much there is to see and shoot in your own city. Did the Chinatown, NYC walk and had a great time, met great people and learned a lot.
Thanks for thinking of this. We should make it a regular event!

Hello from Dublin!
I had a great time on the photowalk on Saturday. Needless to say the weather was traditionally Irish and it belted down rain. This was my first photowalk and it was great to meet some new people.
Hi from Scotland,
The Stirling photowalk was a great success. We had a great day. Good weather, good company and good food. Delighted to hear that this is going to be an annual thing. Count me in! The photos from around the Stirling and around the rest of the world look amazing. Well done everyone and thanks Scott.
Hi Scott,
We wisely had our walk yesterday as Saturday was a little bit wet!
Great bunch of people turned up and we all had a great time.
Delighted to hear this will be an annual event although we might go out again before that it was such fun!
Thansk to all those who turned up!
