Another Reason Why I Choose To Only Write for Peachpit Press

Yesterday, when my book publisher Peachpit Press, heard about what we were doing to help build the orphanage in Kenya, and that my goal was to sell 100 of my Lightroom 2 books, they immediately called to donate (you guessed it), One Hundred Books!
I’ve written over 50 books with Peachpit Press and their New Riders imprint, and I’ve never worked with anyone else all these years. Today you just saw another reason why.
My heartfelt thanks to Peachpit Publisher Nancy Aldrich-Ruenzel, my Editor Ted Waitt, Scott Cowlin, Glenn Bisignani, and the entire Peachpit/New Riders team. I’ve never been prouder to be one of your authors than I am today.

As an instructor my dealings with Peachpit have been great. Friendly & helpful service. They make it seem like the book publishing biz was something they did for fun.
That’s awesome! It’s always nice to read about companies choosing to do the right thing without having to conduct cabinet meetings and poles and all the rest of it that takes up so much time. Just do it!
Thanks Scott! We are equally proud to be your publishing home! I went to Kenya a few years back and have a great love for the beautiful people and country. We experienced the orphanages first hand and all the help you and your readers provided will go a long way to help.

It’s been an amazing journey together, Scott, and we are enjoying every minute of it. Thanks so very much for the wonderful acknowledgment, but it’s you and your incredibly talented team who should be recognized for this heartfelt effort. I personally believe it’s these kinds of grassroots efforts, however large or small, that can do the most to help those in need. I’d like to commit to working together with you and NAPP to doing even more in 2009!
Hey Peachpit! Has anyone told you today - YOU ROCK?!
I have always been really impressed with Peachpit. Now there’s another reason to love them even more. Thanks for sharing Scott, and thanks to Peachpit for being a company that we can be excited about doing business with.
That is awesome. Congratulations to everyone involved.
Not today Deb! Thanks we appreciate it.
