PS on the quotes and link above, the ASCII characters can be used on a PC laptop if it has some time of Numlock or “Fn” key like on mine. The key is to press and hold that key, FIRST. Then press and hold the Alt key and the desired number sequence for the desired character.

So with the Smart Quotes option turned off under Edit | Preferences | Type; the above codes listed on the page link will work.

Just a quick note to say that I was very dissapointed by your comments regarding RC’s optical centering tutorial on the last Photoshop TV podcast.

In your type session today you asked about the keystroke tip for inserting dumb quotes. . . I gave you the “PC” ascii answer as this is my realm (until I can get a good macbook ; ) however, I failed to look one column over on the page I had found to see the listed Mac keystroke.

So maybe this is what you are looking for.

Hi Scott,
Regarding “Big Electric Cat”, are there any recordings anywhere that I could see/listen to/download of the band?
I live in the UK on Incapacity Benefit so getting to the USA to hear you live is just a little tricky shall we say.
I know you are really busy at the moment, but if you (or someone else here) could just point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.

I am constantly amazed by how dynamic and effective you are. I have enjoyed your books and the endless web of other resources you have made available to the hungry public.

I was thinking about what I would like to ask you if I had only one question, and it turns out not to be related directly to photography but rather to your lifestyle.

There is no doubt that you are passionate, resourceful and a naturally brilliant salesman. I love how you have turned your passion and yourself into “a lifestyle brand.”

Thus, my question I have for you is what does your daily, weekly and monthly schedule typically look like? How do you allocate your daily time to encompass your family and your business and how do you schedule your weeks and months to turn into such dynamic years?

I would love to see an hour by hour post of your typical day. I have the feeling the management and networking skills you employ in your your personal life might be equally or even more beneficial than all of your previous great books as you seem to have manifested your time into the creation of a very personally fufilling, productive and prosperous life.
