Hi Scott,
Always a pleasure watching you on Photoshop TV. I enjoy the tips and of course all the goofy humor. I noticed on a more recent episode, as well as a past show, you were wearing a Zildjian t-shirt. As I was looking through the Vegas photo gallery I was almost wondering if I’d see you behind a drum set. Do you play the drums or just like baffling people seeing if they can pronounce the word Zildjian or even know what it means? I have 2 Zildjian jackets and people always say “Ooh nice jacket” but then have this strange look on their face as though they think it’s the name a a guy that does magic tricks or juggles flaming ill tempered cats or something. :^)
Looks like a great event! Looking forward to more Vegas shots…
Today is Bert Monroy’s Birthday - the 6th — Please extend good wishes to him! I wish I were there to say Happy Birthday as it is also my birthday and that’s why I remembered!
So Have a happy happy birthday Bert!

Nice pics! Had such a great time and learned so much! My 4th PSW in a row and already looking forward to next one. One thing I love about PSW is how nice the PS guys are! You guys are awesome and so approachable! I love that! Keep up the good work!
Scott,
I too was impressed with your keyboard skills. When I heard you open with Journey (Seperate Ways) I just laughed. Thats one of the songs I practice on as well. You played it awesome. No school like the old school baby! Your wife is a great singer as well. Dave Cross told me about when you guys first started out as a band together. Now I have the Lowdown on the Kelbinater lol. Great job as usual. My 2 PS World and can’t wait to come back. Thanks again for being so kind in answering my questions (about the interior lighting workshop in LA).

Hi Scott,
A bit of topic question, but i hope u take a minute. I live in El Salvador, Central America, and I’m going to Miami in two weeks so I was wondering if you could recomend a camera store (something like B&H) that I can visit in that city. Thanks for your time,!

I had the pleasure of being there in Vegas! In fact, I am STILL there at the buffet as I write this! I am exhausted from the event, like the rest of us. I have to say to everybody who reads this… Mr Kelby is a class act. He takes the time to hang out and personally involve everybody at the event. Scott has been on a wild ride for the past several years, and as far as I can see, he makes every effort to bring all of us along for his ride too. He gives back, and shares with everyone he meets. It was the finest conference I have ever attended. I will return!
Many mahalos to you Scott and the other Gurus!

Scott, Thanks for including shot of me and Moose Peterson’s assistant, Josh Bradley (no. 11 in the gallery). Josh was the Canon guru who added diversity to Nikon shooters Peterson and McNally on the “safari,” and was more than gracious in giving advice to us Canon folks who were there. The safari and all of PSW (my third) was a hoot. A great combination of solid learning and lots of fun. It’s the people you bring together to teach and inspire who make it so great. Thanks for all of the hard work.

Photoshop World was the best of my summer! I so enjoy and appreciate what you put together.
Suggestion for your typography class: display vs. print (fonts, layout rules, gotchas, etc)
Best,
