Hi Scott,
When is your Lightroom 2 book going to be released ? I have patiently waited for your inspiring guidance to enhance my LR2 experience ! I think I remember reading quite a while ago on your blog that the Amazon release date of Sept 21st was way off and the book would be available earlier ! Any updated info.
Thanks.

Scott...I really enjoyed the conference and enjoyed meeting you. The CS "Next" release showed some very promising and exciting new features. It will be exciting to see what is delivered in "Next".

Thanks for signing my Lightroom 2 book, which is not yet available to consumers!! I have made it through the book and am already implementing some new workflow strategies.

I loved the bonus classes that were held in the Tech Expo. I especially enjoyed listening to Peter Read Miller.

I am not sure if you can embed images in comments so here is a link to Peter Read Miller talking at his presentation...sorry for the low quality iPhone photo.

I love a 'behind the scenes' because it's fun to see something that they are using and say, "Hey, I've got one of those.." and feel all professional. That was more like a music video though, but I've got the 2 minutes if its Jennifer Love Hewitt. :-)

I'm guessing Kelby and crew will have some new books coming out to go along with the Next version release.

As for the post above about just purchasing Kelbys CS3 book, nice thing about PS is that his tips & techniques will be usable even if you're using a newer or older version of PS, well many of them anyway. (Yea first have a look around CS3 & see what you can do...)

And someone from Kelby might publish an Up To Speed book like Ben Willmore did for CS3. That book just went over the new features of the program.

For those wanting more info about whats happening on Sept 23, visit adobes blog. You can also sign up to watch a special web broadcast here. here's the link: http://adobe.istreamplanet.com/

i watched Terry's podcast and i loved the new features in Photoshop and i believe that won't be all so I can't wait to see more. I signed up for the 23rd event also. I have been using Photoshop since the version 5 and since then Photoshop is my best buddy (after my camera though). Soon I'll also be a Adobe Expert in Photoshop, Indesign & Illustrator.
I feel so bad i couldn't attend Photoshop World.I wanted to right now it's a bit difficult to travel all the way from Maldives to US. It's quite costly! But I wish someday I'll be able to make it to Photoshop World.
I'm a regular at your blog for a long time and I love it big time and i own 3 books of yours, 7 point photoshop and both the versions of The Digital Photography Book. They are awesome.

Great work Scott.

And I just bought your CS3 book... :) There's so much to learn it's almost scary! I'll be really interested to see what's new in CS4, but I may wait until I've mastered CS3 before I upgrade.
Thanks for all the great info Photoshop Insider Team!

Hi Scott, I am a fine art photographer and have been a NAPP member for a good number of years. Some months ago a wrote to the help desk because the composite of my conversions to Lab began turning solid black (the individual channels were all right). At first I was discouraged from using Lab, with some sarcastic comments about Don Margulis, then I was recommended to re-install Photoshop, which did not solve the problem. I recently found out from a forum that it is Camera Raw 4.x that does that. I reverted to 3.7 and, sure enough, the problem was gone (but what a solution is that?). I re-wrote to the help desk some 3 weeks ago to ask if you guys knew of any better solution and I have not gotten an answer yet. Would this puzzle you as much as it puzzles me? Regards, Moreno.

Scott,

Without giving too much away of course. Is the September event for Adobe a launch and release of CS4 or just an unveiling of what is to come and an announcement of a release date?
I dont seem to be able to find anything that actually says,"launching/releasing"
