NAPP Publishes Special Bonus “All CS4 Issue” of Photoshop User Magazine for Exclusively For NAPP Members
If you’re a NAPP member—-good news!!!! Along with your next issue of Photoshop User magazine, you’ll be also receiving a special free bonus “All CS4″ issue of the magazine, with the whole issue—cover-to-cover, dedicated to teaching you all the amazing new features of Photoshop CS4.
Each time Adobe comes out with a new version, we at the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) produce a special bonus issue for our members, and I have to tell you, it’s one of those things we really put a lot of sweat into, and maybe that’s why it’s one of the things I’m most proud of.
That fact that our in-house magazine team can put together two simultaneous issues of our magazine is still amazing to me, and I can’t thank them enough for all the extra hours they’ve worked to make this happen for our members.
Also, a congrats to our own Corey Barker who created the cover art for this issue, using some of the new features of Photoshop CS4.
I have written to you before re;your new Lightroom Book . You gave out some books for good ideas suggested for LR2. I had a very small idea that was overlooked, however my suggestion was picked up and is in the current version of LR. I thought that it might warrant a new book on lLR 2. I suggested on your blog the concept of a simulated NDF and bang it was there! I could really use one of the books. Everyone wrote something very articulate and long items. Mine was simple, direct, and functional that is actually is in the book. Could you Please send me one?
So if one was to join NAPP right now would it be in time to receive the “bonus isue”?

I watched the CS4 rollout this morning and I have to say it’s pretty exciting. Though I am a print designer and won’t use much of the stuff they demonstrated there is one item in particular that is going to be incredibly helpful to me – the Content-Aware Scaling in Photoshop. That alone will save me hours of work on the quarterly magazine that I design. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to make creative crops and clone in background in order to make a shot fit the magazine format.
Photoshop User is BY FAR the most useful magazine to which I have ever subscribed. I save every issue and refer back to them often.

I’ve had a look at the new Adobe photoshop CS4 Learning Center on the NAPP site which I really appreciate you and the guys putting together for us, However I have a question for you.
Does Adobe Labs plan on releasing a Public Beta version of Photoshop CS4 for those of us who already own licensed copies of the previous versions, just like they did with Photoshop CS3?
I think it would be great if they did!

Sad thing I have the new Photoshop user magazine but no bonus issue
Hopefully it will be available soon.
