New Online Class From Joe McNally on “Corporate Photography” at KelbyTraining.com

We posted another new online training class from the amazing Joe McNally at KelbyTraining.com this week, and this one is on corporate photography, in particular, shooting an executive portrait on location.
Joe takes you through the entire process, and it’s really fascinating to see how he deals with problems that crop up, how he deals with lighting challenges, and how he works with the executive to get the shot. Click here for more info.

Watched this lastnight, it was GREAT!
Been working my way through Matts LR2 stuff, they are good as well.
Thanks, Scott…..
Yeah – I watched this too – really worthwhile. It was great to see an experienced photographer (yes, Joe is much more than that, but you know what I mean) on a “real” shoot, solving problems and seeing the results they got.
It was also interesting to see that even for someone as awesome as JM, it wasn’t trivial and a walk in the park, underscoring that every shoot is different and requires on the fly problem solving.
Really cool. There is *huge* value in seeing pros work in real life – it’s as close to an apprenticeship you can have without leaving your chair
I hope to see more of this kind of material – theory as great, but just like school, sooner or later you have to get out into the real world, and this practical stuff is really helpful.
The KelbyTraining subscription is the best (small amount of) money I’ve spent for a long time – highly recommended.
Cheers chaps!
A great watch and good even if you do not do that type of photography, and all i can say is “how true.”

Watched it all last night and really enjoyed it. Got a kick out of seeing details such as “Oh Crap we can’t fit through the hallway”. The really glamorous world of photograpy!
Liked how Joe went into the problem solving with all the reflections and light balancing needed in the office. Really enjoyed the session with Stacey. Great idea and the photos looked fantastic.
Always look forward to classes from Joe.
Must agree that joining Kelby Online Training is definitely a worthwhile investment.
Thanks Scott and everyone.
I’m thinking about a special Joe McNally brand of black cloaks to drape over yourself when reflections are a problem. Think about it Scott…
Scott,
A bit off topic so kindly forgive me but my excuse is that I can’t find any other way of bringing something to your attention.
I have been reading the readme file regarding the newly released version of ACR (4.6) and subsequent interaction between it and Lightroom. I have to admit to being totally confused with this readme file and I wonder if perhaps you would consider clarifying the situation in one of your daily bloggs. Thanks.
watched Joe’s new courses as soon as saw it was on. What a learning experience.
He was solving problems I didn’t even know where there… I do now!
Great course.
Great Video, I’ve learned a lot.
Joe introduces “black flocking paper”, which comes on a roll. Goolge only found this from “EdmondOptics.com”, but only in sheets. Pershaps someone can handout a tip, where I can buy a roll. Who is producing this? It’s different to the CineFoil on Joe’s equipment-list.
A wish or recommandation:
Perhaps it’s possible to get “Equipment-Lists” via Download to a lesson, when something special is mentioned.
Greetings from Germany
Dennis
Scott,
Another great class! I can’t wait to see what you have in mind for Brad.

Hello.
Watched attentively by big sisters Maud and Leah the newest member of the Norwegian royal family has been captured in homely shots used by proud parents Princess Martha Louise of Norway and her husband Ari Behn to introduce her to the world.
Bye.
Aguardo resposta breve.
