Tomorrow’s Special Guest Blogger is…
…one of my favorite outdoor photographers, the head of NAPP’s Gear Desk, a Photoshop World instructor, and one of the nicest, most genuine, and fun people you’d every want to meet, the amazing Laurie Excell.
Laurie has one of the coolest, and most demanding jobs in photography training, as one of the instructors for the famous “Digital Landscape Workshop Series” (link) along side photography legends Moose Peterson and Joe McNally. So, how do you get to be that “third instructor” beside Moose and Joe? You have to be really, really good (and Laurie is exactly that). I’m honored to have her here tomorrow as my guest blogger—make sure you check back to see what Laurie has in store (in the meantime, here’s a link to Laurie’s photography blog).

Scott, my friend, sorry you did not get your preferred shot of the eagles, but consider that the poorly framed, yes out of focus capture is actually the more natural, truly realistic photograph. After all, if the eagle were completely frozen in mid air (as you seem to desire)…it would plummet to the ground…they must move in order to fly my friend. Just food for thought.
Hello,
I post here about some post, didn’t find an other place to write you ! Really !
I read about your eagle shoot, And that remember a nice calendar from Canon, we have at work. very nice calendar. The eagle was shot from front, and he wasn’t visible entire ! Saw it yesterday and think at your post !
So I get last week my signed copy of Lightroom 2.0. Many many thanks for your little text.
Now I know you are a very nice and human person (Even I knew it before…). Getting three things in the same action, a good very book, a signing from you and helping children who need our help, that make me happy.
Thanks again for all your work. Reading your news every day is a real pleasure.
That was my “Big Comment of the day”.
Waiting for your Special Guest…
