I know (well, not personally) Joe McNally from NAPP and Photoshop User TV & Magazine.

When I received this month’s copy of Nat’l Geo while perusing the cover story I noticed his name and thought to myself “Hey I know him!” – lol.

Joe is such a compassionate guy, he would anyone a chance to make some bucks!

I really enjoy these naturally lit shots of real people from small out of the way places. Who knew?

I was so excited when I got my October issue of NG and saw that Joe had done the shoot for the Neanderthal article. I was excited for him and for me for actually recognizing a name like that.

I bought this edition of National Geo without realising it was Joe… then I saw it pictured on Joe’s blog and had to go back and appreciate the imagery all over again.. Life is tough!

I have to say that Joe is inspirational, in his imagery, his book and in his presentational style on kelbytraining. thank you for introducing me to his work (you recommended his “The Moment it Clicks” in one of you recent books)

Hey Scott,

You also deserve credit for agreeing to model for it. I hardly recognized you without your glasses! I also like the early Gitzo monopod in the bottom two shots; those neanderthals were SO backward they did not even use carbon fibre duh!
