Download New Photoshop Plug-ins For Reducing Noise/Grain, Smooth Skin, and Color Correcting

Kodak has released a host of Photoshop Compatible plug-ins that do everything from reduce digital noise to retouching skin, to color correcting, and more. Best of all, you can download free trial versions and start using them today. You can download them from Kodak’s Austin Development Center. By the way; over the years I’ve had photographers rave about Kodak’s “Digital Gem” plug-in for noise, but I guess they had stopped supporting it, but now it’s back as one of those plug-ins. I haven’t had a chance to take them through the paces myself, but hopefully I’ll get a chance this weekend.

First – Love your books. I can actually understand them and that is impressive considering I am one step above cromagnum when it comes to tecnology!
Second, I recently started a photography business despite knowing virtually nothing about it. I realize that this is an insult to those who do and for that I apologize. However, with that said, i am doing pretty well and proud of what i ahve done to date. I do need knowledge of the inside secrets. I am using Photoshop Elements 6 and mostly use it to unsharp mask and smooth skin (creating new layer, adding gaussin blur, reducing the opacity to about 38% adding another layer at 30% combining and erasing the blur from eyes and mouth)
My question is this. Short of getting CS3 (I will repeat when it comes to technology I am just ahead of the the “wheel” ) Is there a plug in that will smooth skin for me in Elements 6 or are they all geared to CS2 and CS3.
My other alternative is to e mail you all the photos I take and have you do them, but, I am guessing you are already a bit busy.
