		<description>Scott,

I just found out I'm one of the winners of Katrin's new book. WOW! Thank you VERY MUCH for your generosity. I appreciate your willingness to provide for all of us a platform to brainstorm and help to improve this magnificent software. I'm just honored to have just been mentioned as having an "idea that struck a chord with you,' let alone getting such a wonderful book.

My sincerest thanks,

		<description>O-Great-Wonder-of-Kelby:

I beg of you, make it 10... between my 3 kids, the blinding snow and the roar of cold, winter dreariness with limited outdoor photography opportunities, I could use a book with this kind of 'spark' to it to snap me out of the 'photo-funk'.

Keep up the professional work, Scott... your site is something I look forward to every day (and no that is not me buttering you up - you've had enough buttering by others). Thanks.

<description>There is one thing I wish was different. I know Scott hates to crop as I do, but when I need to, the Vignett is only applied to the edges of the original image. It is not applied to the edeges of the croped portion. That makes sense as the tool is for lens correction. However, as many use it to add artistic value, it would be nice to not have it locked in to the original image edges. I hope that makes sense.

BTW, the other suggestions are great and congrats on the book.

		<description>Scott,

I am not concerned with receiving a book or not, however, I wanted to share with you a Lightroom modification that I think many people would be very happy to have.

After we import photos and have the folder in the Library Module visible, I often create a collection for the most valued photos from that import that I will be using to send to a client vs creating a sub folder. This way, I have a quick way to access the photos and I can assign a purpose and child collections as well within that collection. I like the way it stands on its own.

The problem I will continue to run into is when I have created a virtual copy within that collection; then say I want to delete the virtual copy, or even the original, from within the collection, when I right click (or control click for Mac) I only get the option to remove from the collection.

My recommendation is for Lightroom to be modified so that I have the option to delete the photo or its virtual copy right from the collection. This keeps me from having to go to the photo or virtual copy in the folders area and then navigate back to my collection where I was doing my main work (which is a very cumbersome process and waste of valuable editing time for my customers).

Hope this helps.
