Tomorrow’s Special Guest Blogger is…
Jan. 13
2:27 am
….that’s right—the Strobist himself, David Hobby.
It is such an honor to have David as a guest here on the blog. I’ve been such of fan of his site, his teaching, and what he’s done in creating the world’s leading site for off-camera flash education, Strobist.com. Make sure you check in tomorrow to see what our very special guest has in store. I can’t wait!!!

Looking forward to it, I think your site traffic will shoot up, lots.
Just yesterday I was over at KelbyTraining and wondered why David Hobby doesn’t have training videos there.
Very cool.
I was lucky enough to attend one of Daves Strobist lighting workshops in Los Angeles last year.
It was a real learning experience. I am really looking forward to seeing what he has to say over here. I do check out his blog on a regular basis.
Wow! I’m waiting for it!
WOW!!! The guy that got me started shooting with a flash. I have all the respect for Dave and I can’t wait to hear what he has to say. I agree, the traffic on this site are going way up! (As if there wasn’t already a whole lot of traffic!) I also agree that putting some training videos by Dave on KelbyTraining.com would be a hit.
I have really learned a lot from David and his website. It was my number one stop on the net for looking for lighting info period, especially using speedlites. I just wished I would have found it before I sunk a ton of money in to my Speedotron setup that sits in its box and bag most of the time and I use my Vivitar 285’s until I got my 580exII, 580ex and 550ex toward the end of 08. I now have started to learn the Canon wireless system.
Hobby rocks!
This is gonna be good…..
This is going to be cool! The best of both worlds, David Hobby on Scott Kelby’s blog …I think the planet may tilt just a little. =)
I first learned how to use my flash off camera by reading one of your Digital Photography books (I think No.2). In that section you posted a link to David’s site, the Strobist blog, if anyone wanted to learn further how to improve their off-camera flash photography. I’ve been following both of you ever since.
It was just a matter of time. He is THE MAN, and a great guy. He loves what he does and it shows with everything he does. Thanks Scott!
Awesome stuff, really looking forward to tomorrow, it is about time, both of you guys are very skilled at what you do. Looking forward to learning more.
