Thanks. Very informative. I have had trouble believing I need CS4, although I do have the new Lightroom 2, but your post is making me take another pass at CS4.

Great post! Auto Align & Auto Blend are seemingly under the radar (maybe because they're under the Edit menu & not the Layer menu?), and new PS users are always ecstatic when I introduce them to those features.

The changes in CS4 to those functions are definitely something I've mentioned to students & clients. Thanks for putting together such an informative post.

The way that CS3 created panos made it a snap to shoot them. I knew that technology was great when I could shoot a pano handheld, indoors in low light and the only editing I needed to do was a little cropping.

With CS4 it looks as if that technology has been extended in some pretty cool ways.

Your post already has given me a couple of ideas that I need to try with images I have already shot and blended previously using layer masks.

Thanks for a great post.
