My New “Mastering Camera Raw in CS4″ Online Class is Live!
Just wanted to let you know that my new “Photoshop CS4 Mastering Camera Raw” class is now up live on Kelby Training Online. I tried something totally different in the way I teach Camera Raw for this online course, and I’m really excited about how it came out
I’m putting together a short video clip on how the class is structured, and if all goes well, I’ll post that clip here later this week.
In the meantime, here’s the link to my new class.

Scott,
As I think I’ve mentioned before, what amazes me most about you is your prolific output. How do you fit all this stuff into 24 hours? You may have done it before but a quick blog about how you manage to organise yourself, say on a daily, monthly, annual basis, in all your activities would be appreciated.
In the meantime, keep going! You’re doing a great job.
Did you change something? all replies are showing up as new messages in my reader (google reader)
Hey Scott,
Long time student of Kelby training, but I’m starting to get overwhelmed with all the work flows. Is it possible to get a managable work flow that uses LR2, Bridge and Photoshop in CS4? I realize some things work better from different starting points, but if you start in Bridge it seems you bypass the LR2 benifits. So what’s the best way to logically get through it all?

I love the Kelby training videos and I’m about to re-up for another year. My only complaint/suggestion is to have a “ask the instructor” area where you really get answers to a question from that particular instructor (or at least a qualified expert in the field). I understand these videos are made possibly a year in advance, but my questions go to a deaf area that are never answered in the ’suggestion’s window, never to be answered.
Thx
Debbi
I started the “Mastering Camera Raw in CS4″ yesterday. I love it. I am only half way through the class and already I have been amazed at what I didn’t know. You are an amazing teacher.
Thanks,
Lynda
Is Kelby Training ever going to fix bugs in their online training? I have had a membership for several months and it has been next to usless. I have contacted support and keep getting the same answer “we are going to fix this.” or “We are going update the flash player and that will fix the problem.” What my problem is that a lot of the lessons when you have continuous playback checked actually skip lessons. An example is the Lightroom part 2 class from Matt if you it goes from “Befores and Afters” to “Split Toning” totally skipping black and white.
I am starting to get a ticked off that you have the nerve to charge for your service, one that I am paying for but can’t seem to get the bugs fixed in a reasonable amount of time. The guy in support I have talked with always seems nice and helpful, but nothing gets fixed.
So when are you going to get you for cost service fixed so that I can use it they want to use it?
Scott,
I believe there is a problem with the feeds on you and layers blogs…
http://www.scottkelby.com/blog/feed <- should just be posts but it also includes all comments… This just started today but started last week on the layers blog..
Chris
Robert, I noticed that glitch also. It never really bothered me since I just select each lesson when I want to start it. (I’m usually taking notes) But it was weird the first time it happened as the instructor was talking about a subject from a ’skipped’ lesson and I thought that I was missing something…lol
I just start the videos and let them run in the background while I do other work. When something is said that I am interested in I then go and watch that part of the video. It is really annoying when you can’t trust their system to work with even the most basic of features and the say they are going to fix it but never do. I expected better from Kelby Training.
Robert
Richard,
I have seen the same thing and I also like Robert find it very annoying. When it happens, I just and stop it and start the skipped lesson. That is the not the most annoying though, it can be worked around. However the synch problems that are showing up on RC video for website with PS and Dreamweaver is just unworkable. Cannot follow the lesson. I just find it not usable.
Just finished last night. You have a great way of getting people to understand and be able to do it.
