I mentioned last week about sitting in on one of RC Concepcion’s sessions at Photoshop World in Boston, and how incredibly impressed I was with his content and delivery (believe me, I knew he was good—that’s why we hired him in the first place, but he’s really taken it up a notch).
Anyway, he’s got some really cool things coming up, and I wanted to share them here, so you can get a chance to learn from him in a live class setting.
You Can Do It, Too!
Moose Peterson and RC have been teaching an intimate workshop called “You Can Do It, Too!” Here’s how they describe it: “We take pictures, we talk about the business of photography revolving around the editorial marketplace (where it all begins) and how to exploit the web in your business plan.” It’s been a huge hit, selling out in advance (it’s limited to just six people), and their next one is coming up April 16-19, 2009 at Mammoth Lakes, CA. There’s a great quote from one of the past participants that’s well worth reading (here’s the link).
The Voices That Matter Web DesignConference
RC has become the “go-to guy” for anything to do with Web design, especially for photographers, and he’s going to be one of the instructors at the upcoming Voices That Matter Web Design Conference in San Francisco, CA on April 27-30th, where he’s teaching a pre-conference workshop, along with regular conference sessions on everything from Flash to Photoshop, Dreamweaver to video on the Web. Here’s where you can learn more.
New Online Web Design Classes
RC just wrapped up four new courses for Kelby Training Online, including his upcoming “Dreamweaver CS4 Basics” online class, along with ”Building a Website in Photoshop CS4 and Dreamweaver CS4” as well as a “Lightroom 2 & Dreamweaver CS4 Portfolio design class,” and a “Flash CS4 Basics” online class on Kelby Training. Here’s the link for more details.
All RC all the Time!
You can also catch RC each week on Layers TV, and he writes the daily blog over at LayersMagazine.com, which pretty much ensures that he never sleeps (well, that and that the fact that he’s got a six month old baby girl—–just as adorable as she can be!).
Anyway, I’m really tickled to see so many cool things coming RC’s way, and if you get a chance to see him live—jump on it. He’s a really gifted, engaging, funny, and passionate presenter who really knows his stuff, and knows how to make it stick. Way to go RC!!!

Scott,
The link for the “you can do it too” quote is not working. Hope to finally meet you at a PSW!
Gifted? In spades. But that ain’t nothin’ next to what an amazing, kind, person this man is. RC is on my short-list of favourite human beings.
Scott,
You’ve got timing! I signed up for Kelby Training’s online videos last week. Thanks for the discount for NAPP members. Looking forward to seeing my first Layers magazine….
The timing of the announcement on RC’s tutorials is perfect. I started designing websites back in 95 (with a text editor). Just finishing up a Dreamweaver book right now, and I’ve got a new website to build over the next few weeks. You just gave me more fuel to make a good site. Thanks!!!!
RC is all this AND MORE! His classes are not only informative but he’s a fun presenter and he makes you feel energized about what you are learning. He’s also a nutty wild man who is a TON of fun to be around!
RC – I have three words for you: “I love you!”
If you need a cool, flashy, hip website…..RC showed us how to build some awesome sites in a very short amount of time. Plus you can charge a bunch of money…becuase the website looks so trendy
RC ROCKS!!
I have to agree with the above posts. RC totally ROCKS! A truly gifted person and presenter. I like his “in your face” method of presenting. He doesn’t sit still for a minute and totally interacts with the audience. He treats everyone like they are his best friend. What a guy. SK, you know how to pick them!
RC can you tell me how to get my pic on here like Dave, Rich & Firgs!
Happy to see this well-deserved shout-out to RC. I have benefited greatly from his contributions to LayersTV, blog, tutorials, and much more.
A well deserved shout out to one of the nice men of training.
I sat through two of RC’s classes at PhotoshopWorld and can say that he let me discover two very important components for simplifying my workflow on a project I hope to launch this summer. His tips and the resources he turned me on to will go a long way in getting me to my goal with a high-quality deliverable. I’m eternally grateful — if only he hadn’t been walking around in the morning with his headphones in, I’d have told him personally!
This is often a very smart browse on behalf of me, Should admit that you are one in every of the best bloggers I ever saw. Thanks for posting this informative article.
Hi there, I found your blog on Google while seeking for first aid for a heart attack and your post looks very interesting for me.
