I hope you have scheduled some free time for yourself to do a little photography. Portland is one of the most photogenic cities in the States. Go up on the western hills where you can get a view of the city with Mt. Hood in the background. Great opportunities for street photography in downtown, and of course more scenic photo ops than you can ever have time for. Enjoy your stay. If you like Lebanese food, I highly recommend Al Amir in downtown. You won't be disappointed. Portland is one of my favorite cities. Mt. Hood on the left and Mt. St. Helens, Rainier, Adams on the right side of the plane. It is simply a fantastic place to visit and take pictures. Enjoy your time! We're coming from Colorado Springs and can be there early if you need any manual labor or extra hands in setting things up. This is going to be soooo cool. I love your books and teaching style.
