Vinny,

Thanks for the feature BLOG. Your fine art photography has been a jaw dropping experience for me. It touches my soul. I savor any article you've written and save them in my archives, pulling them out and rereading them from time to time for inspiration to take my photography to another level. My wife and I first saw you speak at the GretagMacbeth booth at Photo Expo NY some time in the early 2000s. Since then I've heard you speak on many occasions and was fortunate to partake in a DLWS that you were leading. You are my photography idol and I hope to be just like you if I ever grow up. Until our next meeting. May it be with a drink in one hand and a camera in the other.

You are a poet, Vincent. I think so every time I listen to you, or read your words. Thank you for this blog post.

I really enjoyed the post and learned how to take red out of skin. Even though I use Photo Shop Elements 7 and don't have the fade brush tool, I've been able to use the technique by guessing the % and undoing/adjusting as needed. Thanks!

Although my life is in its waning stage, your philosophy in this blog inspires me to keep on learning and living life until the lights go out. I have a hero known as Craig Tanner who is a photographer and I believe his teachings are so similar to yours. I struggle with some of the concepts but want to learn so I will continue to amass grains of sand that will become part of my life's experience. Thank you for this inspiring blog.

I will have to re-read but that, too, will be a pleasure.

I do appreciate how you tackle "beauty" in a modern way. It is not the appearance of an object alone that makes it beautiful but the thoughts that brings the object alive and "beautiful."

Thanks for the writing, you are indeed an inspiring person.

talk about integrity. This man is non other than perfection. His drive to understand every single element and his inherent dedication to crafting fine art is so genuine and amazing. I truly believe this man is a genius. I think more people should study his work, read his books, and listen to him as he speaks. This man is on a whole other level of thinking than most which is incredibly inspiring and in a lot of places under appreciated.

Thank you so much Scott and Vincent for sharing and giving all of us insight into the industries professionals.
