Thank you, Scott, for taking the time to post about issues such as the Springs of Hope Kenya Orphanage. It is very encouraging to see someone of your influence utilizing that position to help others. God bless you!

Perfect timing with Illustrator CS4 on Kelby Training. I just bought AI CS4 because my wife has been wanting to learn how to do comic book type drawing on the computer. It seemed all tutorials to be found were aimed at a mid-level of Illustrator knowledge and not much for the complete novice. Thanks for the heads up!

This OnOne software is also for the iPod touch, if somebody has that over the iPhone.
I just got the OnOne Canon software for my iPod last night. It's going to be nice to fire my shutter without having to be next to the camera. I won't have to hide my face behind the camera and be attached to a cable. Very nice.

Josh, The iPhone apps for camera control should only get better with the release of iPhone 3.0 software. With 3.0 developers can access the hardware of the iPhone and can create a software product that would allow you to connect your iPhone directly to your camera!

That iPhone app looks pretty cool, but I have a couple gripes about it already. My main problem with it is that you need to have the camera tethered to a computer running the server application. This pretty much rules out the use of the app for landscape shooting unless you take a laptop with you. A real pain in the arse. (Of course for the same cost as the app, i could probably just buy a cable release which i should have by now but i dont. :-) )

It would be nice if we had the ability to install the server within the cameras firmware itself, but something tells me Nikon wont let that happen. If I ever get a studio type of environment up and running, I can see how this app will be helpful, but for the average shooter, I dont think it will provide much benefit.

Love your blog Scott. Thanks for everything you do!
