Catch Matt’s Lightroom Tour in Chicago and New York City
My buddy and Lightroom guru Matt Kloskowski is taking our “Lightroom 2 Live!” one-day seminar tour to:
- Chicago on Monday, July 20th
- New York City on Wed., July 22nd.
Matt absolutely kicks butt on this tour, and if you get a chance to catch him live—don’t miss it!!!!
Here’s the link with more details (By the NAPP: If you’re a NAPP member, you can attend for only $79. If you’re not a member, it’s still just $99).
Also, you can download the tour brochure (in PDF format) right here.

Hey Scott…you have seen what a great turnout that Corey got with his Down N Dirty seminar here in Toronto. Now how about bringing the Lightroom Tour here next. How about making this a stop for all the seminars.
San Francisco!!! Or at least northern California!!
I need this tour.
Scott, I just began reading through your Lightroom book and the Step about using the eyedropper tool for the White Balance/Temp alone made the purchase of the book worth it.
Unless I missed something, you stated that the temp tool did not work for jpegs. While it does not give a temperature number, it does effect the image as well as the eyedropper tool. I found this out when I downloaded some pics from my card and realized they were all jpegs, so I just called them up in Lightroom and was able to adjust the white balance just the same as with RAW (of course, the jpegs don’t have the same latitude as RAW but its good to know if I accidently shoot jpeg instead of RAW).
Wish ya’ll/Matt would come to New Orleans.
Thanks for a great book,
Kirk
I know I wish that you guys would bring some of these tours to Utah. We would love to have you!!
Scott, if you/Matt brought the LR tour to the Cleveland area (Ziser had his digital wakeup tour come through Independence, OH) you’d situate yourself in between major highways (and two airports) that put you within 500 miles of 43% of the United States population.
We’d love to have you and I’d even help with conference room selection if it’d bring you guys here
I’m just starting out with photography, and hope to attend the Lightroom event in New York. Since I started watching PhotoshopUserTv and reading the various blogs – since it always has the photography stuff mixed in with the photoshop stuff (duh!) I got more and more interested in photography.. So here I am, actually making strides in that direction… Next step: setting up my studio.
