Please Join Us In Recognizing Rob Jones
Pictured above with me are my fellow Photoshop Guys Dave Cross and Matt Kloskowski, (photo by RC) holding a special award we created to honor Rob Jones, (from Towner Jones Photography) who not only came up with the idea to sell World Wide Photo Walk t-shirts to raise money for the Springs of Hope Orphanage (at last count nearly $7,000), but he set-up and managed the entire process, then even matched donations to help raise even more. (We’re shipping Rob the award today!).
It reads:
Presented to Rob Jones in grateful recognition of your contributions to building the Springs of Hope Kenya Orphanage.
Please take a moment and help us thank Rob personally by saying a few quick words here on the blog.
My humble thanks to Rob, and to everyone around the world who supported the kids at the Orphanage by purchasing one of these shirts.

Rob, I don’t know you from a hole in the wall but my respect and commendations go out to you. You have a passion and creative approach to life that a lot of us ignore. Thank you for making a difference.
Yet further evidence of how truly classy, and self-less (is that a word?) Rob is – he is always thinking of others, truly an inspirational figure..so generous and thoughtful. It is nice to have people like Rob around because it is through Rob and people like him that the rest of us are reminded what is really important: helping to make the world a better place!
Excellent work guys – a beautiful award for a truly beautiful man. The Photo/Design industry just seems so giving, loving and warm!
An incredibly thoughtful and innovative idea Rob. Quite simply, it’s people like you that keep us grounded and help us to remember what’s important in life.
Good on you!
Glyn
Well deserved award for someone who put his money where so many just put their mouth.

Sincerest respect to Rob for a great idea and a great cause. Great work by everyone to make his ideas a reality.
Well done. This whole project is an awesome example of what can happen when you put yourself out there and surround yourself with great people. They take your visions places you never even imagined. Can’t wait to see what you all come up with next year.
I bought 2 t-shirt for the PhotoWalk just to help the cause, it’s even more awesome that those revenues are matched by Rob’s! Great example of dedication to something one believes (and makes others believe!). Keep it up!
I loved my PhotoWalk shirt and the design was outstanding! My boyfriend and I looked great in our matching t-shirts on PhotoWalk day. Thanks, Rob, for creating such a great product and for helping out with Springs of Hope. It was truly a thoughtful and giving effort. I read the blog everyday and it’s always nice to see updates on the orphanage. It makes me feel like I’m part of the special community helping those children out. Thanks, Scott, for all you do … from your teaching and inspiration to your giving and generous nature!
Thanks, Rob, for your creativity in designing the t-shirts and your generosity in making this a successful fundraiser for the Springs of Hope Orphanage!!! I couldn’t decide between the designs, so I ordered both! Naturally, I wore one on Photo Walk day and was very pleased to see a couple of “wardrobe twins” in my group. Bless you, Rob. And bless you, Scott, for bringing Springs of Hope to our attention!
Thanks Rob for making this happen. It takes a lot of devotion to help people you’ll never meet and even if you deserve this award, we know that’s not why you did it, and we’re proud to see you help them by raising that much money! For doing so, you proved the size of you heart and I totally agree with Scott that this was worth recognition.
Great job Rob!!! Congrats on a well deserved piece of hardware. Kudos to SK and the gang for recognizing your efforts!

Rob, Thanks for being such an outstanding person, and thanks for giving the rest of us of chance to help, too.
Thanks Rob—That Rocked!
Thanks Rob! I received my shirt prior to the walk, and got it specifically because of the donation. Otherwise I would have gone out with the “standard” walk shirt. Great idea and execution. Oh, and it looks good too!
Rob, Not only did I love my Leader shirt (I have even worn it to my office once since the walk), but I also appreciate all your due diligence in managing the process.
Thanks for making a difference!
I didn’t do the walk but liked the shirt and was inspired by the fact that a portion of the proceeds would go to charity. Thanks for your great efforts
Rob! Great job and idea! I wore my Photowalk shirt proud knowing that I was helping the Springs of Hope orphanage….how great!!!
Thanks again Rob, very deserving of the award.
Cheers….

Good job Rob! I’m sure that the orphans will certainly benefit from your efforts. Bravo!
Rob,
Your time, effort and money will do wonders for the orphans. You managed to bring them hope and joy. Not many people can do that.
Great job!
Awesome way to recognize his efforts. Rob, way to step up and make a difference. Great shirts too!
Rob! You are awesome and thanks for your generosity.
God bless.
Congrats to all who helped make this happen including Rob of course. I bought the walk leader’s Hoodie and am having it framed for my office. Glad the money went to a good cause.
Congrats to Rob and company for their efforts. We bought 2 shirts and were proud to wear them at the Photowalk, knowing that we’d contributed to the orphanage. So this year’s Photowalk should be special for everyone, like it was for us. Thanks.
Props!
Rob,
We walked with you in 2008 at UVA. Were in Baltimore this year, but really want to thank you for the opportunity to help Scott and his efforts for Springs of Hope and for your extra generosity in matching the revenue from us late comers.
And Linda looks terrific in her T-Shirts.
Thank You Rob and Thank You to all of those that purchased the shirts.
I saw about four out of about 40 people at are photowalk. MAN I wish it was A LOT more!
Respect. Good for you. Someone who cares and is prepared to act. A lot of kids will be happier because of your compassion.
Great recognition of a great offer. Well done Rob and everyone else involved.
I’m liking my Worldwide Photo Walk t-shirt, Rob.
Just get a good feeling when I don it.
