How to Learn What Everything Does in Photoshop
If you’ve ever wondered what a particular checkbox, or tool, or filter, or option was in Adobe Photoshop, NAPP set out to teach you just that,with thousands of short 60-second (max) videos (and yes, there are literally thousands of these short to-the-point videos).
Called “H.E.L.P.” (the How-To Educational Library for Photoshop), it was unveiled last week during the opening keynote at Photoshop World after input from thousands of Beta testers around the world, so it’s been tweaked, updated, simplified, and expanded to make it truly an amazing resource for learning Photoshop.

Thanks to all the Beta testers who helped us hone this puppy, because it has really become an incredible resource, and we couldn’t have done it without your help and input. Also, thanks to Matt, Dave, Corey, and RC who created those thousands of videos, and made sure that every little thing was covered, so you’d have a place to find out exactly what every little (and big) thing in Photoshop actually does. You guys rock!
Just tried it out and it looks terrific. This is one feature I’ll be returning to again and again. Kudos to those who came up with the concept and thanks to all who made it a reality. Did I mention that it’s terrific?
I’d pay for something like this for a PS Elements edition.

Would have been nice to have a faux photoshop interface, click on the tool, see the video rather than searching. Searching for “Shape” for example brings up a ton of options. Just a thought

Scott, how about covering the topic of Nikon lens mounting on Canon with the conversion rings. Ther’s alot of confusion about which ones will work or what features. I shoot with friends who have Canon cameras and we were wondering what can be switched. Thanks

I was wondering if it’s possible for you to have a tutorial on how to make digital photos look more like film in Photoshop. I’ve been looking around the net for techniques without finding anything good. I would really appreciate it and I think others would too.

Suggestion: add some troubleshooting tips. For example, Patch Tool is not behaving the way I’d expect (just to be clear, I watched all of the Patch Tool videos). I’ll bet there is something very simple that I’m missing — a setting, or just how it does it’s work (when to use, when not to use).
Another example: sometimes a brush doesn’t behave the way you expect. What are the 1 or 2 or 3 obvious settings to check?
