Late last week Adobe announced a very cool new photo editing app for the iPhone called “Photoshop.com Mobile” that’s already getting lots of love.
My buddy Terry White did a first look at the App, so to get the full scoop, head over to Terry’s Tech Blog (here’s the link).

I picked up this App late Friday night. I love the fact that the crop tool shows the “Rule of Thirds” grid so you can make your image just so. Besides, the price is right too!
See ya,
Mike
Not available in UK Store!
Great little app. If you could marry this app with Chase Jarvis’s “Best Camera” iPhone app you would have a serious contender. Nonetheless it will do well of. It’s Adobe Photoshop Mobile for Pete sakes.
Thanks for the post.

Pretty nice, needs waaay more options though, I expected tons more from the leader of image editing. I like how you can slide your finger to increase or decrease the settings, really nice way to utilize the touch screen.
What’s great about this is not its current feature set, but that it is there at all! It is a sign that the photo software industry has realized the value of targeting the iPhone as a viable and valuable piece of photographic equipment, both as a camera and as an adjunct to other types of digital photography.
Now that these first versions are available, the griping of the community as to what’s missing will probably have a positive effect on the subsequent versions of all these good and potentially great apps.
Thanks to Adobe for being out there too and thanks to Scott and Terry and all the others for keeping us up to date about it.

The picture of the iPhone on this post totally has a smiley face at the bottom of the phone.
A shame it’s not available in the UK App Store. Any idea when photographers in the UK will have access?
Will the iPhone apps work on the iPod Touch?
Yes.
This one is goood. I also like the iProRecorder that lets you record a voice message (even a long one) and put a photo with it then send it as an e-mail. This can be used in a number of situations.
Ah us aussies miss out again!!!
Preeeettty cool – i had a feeling the’d do something like this sooner or later. Hope it keeps progressing and building!
Scott can you please find out from adobe why this US only and when it is available to the other 6 billion people that don’t think the united states is the centre of the universe. I’m sure that there are many people here that would appreciate it. Cheers!
So what else is NAPP going to predict from Adobe by 2 years?

I ran across this app last week. It is an app that is designed for interior decorating, but it helps when you are looking to find coordinating colors to use in a Photoshop.
