Scott; I caught your talk at the Nikon booth stage at the PDN Expo and I was disapointed it wasn't longer. But I would really would like to know is what Adobe was demostrating at their booth. I can't remember the name and I can't find anything on their web site. I called sales and support and they have no idea what I'm talking about. Do you or anyone else know what this plug in program is called??? It looks a lot like onOne Essentials for ELements. The girl demo-ing it said it works on ELements 4 -7 but not yet 8 and had no written info.
 Thanks

Well, now I feel really silly to read over the OP again to see that I am mentioned. :D

I'm thrilled you were able to stop by my Lexar presentation. I'm terrible at keeping my blog up, so I may pilfer some of your eloquence. Again, a wonderful coverage :)

Well now I'm heartbroken that I don't see a photo of myself lecturing at the Lexar booth along with friends Rick Sammon and Douglas Dubler. Wonderful coverage none the less. I do hope you had a chance to check out one or all of our presentations at some point. Not to mention the new PCI SATA card readers and 600X cards from Lexar. Wicked fast...

Reading between the lines, from an earlier post it sounds like Michael Grecco might have been the presenter you didn't care for. If that's the case, it's too bad you left early -- the last time time I saw him, the final third of the seminar was showing set-ups. Everyone has off days, though, and different strokes for different folks: the worst presentation I ever saw at PPE was by Joe McNally (who I'm giving the benefit of the doubt)!

It was such a great event, almost all of the classes I took were fantastic. It was such a treat to see you walk into Jack Hollingsworth social media class! I also got to see you speak at the Nikon booth, which was great.

All around it was definitely worth going to!

Ahhh...your photos make me wish I had attended Photo Plus Expo this year. I signed up and would have hung around the Canon booth, "signing prints" (ha!), but I had an important wedding to attend out-of-state.

Thanks for the advice on restaurants. I trust Anthony Bourdain and will take these suggestions for my trip to New York this weekend. :)

Hi Scott,

I have never met you but I really enjoyed reading your Digital Photography Books 1, 2, & 3 and your Photoshop CS3 for photographers book.

I am guessing that Matt competed in the World Tang Soo Do Association Region 8 tournament? I am part of the WTSD and my chief instructor and some of my classmates were out at the tournament.

Thank you for your generous sharing of your wisdom with the rest of us photographers!
