The Wait is Over: Photoshop User TV is Back!!!!
It’s back baby—Photoshop User TV, the weekly show for Adobe Photoshop users kicks off our new season with more Photoshop tips, techniques and tutorials in less time than ever, with an all-new format, a new set, and a brand new look (and you can watch this week’s episode right here!).
COOL GIVEAWAY ALERT: We’re kicking off the new season by giving away a Westcott Spiderlite TD-5 Studio Lighting kit (courtesy of our friends at FJ Westcott). Just watch the show to see how to enter (there is no trivia question—just sign up to win at the Web address we give you on the show). Good luck!
Also, even though we’ve been on a construction hiatus, we’ve been posting special abbreviated “best of” and highlight shows (including our full-length “Live from Photoshop World” show), and you can watch those on the Photoshop User TV Web site (here’s the link).
NOTE: If you want to catch every episode for free, you can subscribe using Apple’s iTunes and watch it right there on your computer, or download it onto your iPod. Here’s the link.

Nice show! One little quip. I think the table that Scott and the others use for opening and closing the show is too small for three people.
Audio track (volume) is erratic… needs to be smoothed out, leveled: speaker to speaker, and even the audio ups and downs coming from a single person.
Ten Comments…Ten(ish) Seconds
1. Excellent intro, a teaching basic; “Tell them what you are going to teach them.”
2. Graphics are way cool.
3. A little more “corny” banter would be nice.
4. The real deal with “More content in less time.”
5. Blue, blue and there’s some more blue, reminds me of David Ziser with a Z-ray.
6. Nice to show questions from various sources.
7. Maintain lightroom tips on a weekly basis.
8. The “bloopers” at the end are a nice touch.
9. Coordinated clothing…think about it.
10. Love it! Really, a great improvement. Thanks for all your hard work!
I want to be honest. On the one hand I really like the great amount of content. Especially the Lightroom/CameraRaw Tips but on the other hand I miss the fun and entertaining part.
Remember the “steam”-Episode. Now you cut out the fun stuff…think about it.
Keep rockin’ guys. Still gonna watch the show

Nice to see it’s back. Always something new there to learn.
The new format is excellent with the concentration on useful content.
Hi Scott,
Firstly, it’s great to see PS User TV back on the air but I’m afraid that the new format is far too rushed for my liking. As for fast forwarding over the banter in the old format, it was the humour and interaction that made the shows stand out from all the other tutorials on the web. The only thing I skipped over were the adverts (sorry sponsors). Keep the new set if you must but please change back to the longer ‘friendly’ format. You had the winning formula all along. Don’t be like every other tutorial out there, be different, be better.
Scott.
A massive change in format and design! No criticism here, after all its free!!
I remember when I stumbled across the show years ago. It was a week before Xmas. Things were really bad for me with some appalling personal issues with my family. Xmas was not going to be fun, I can tell you! Then suddenly there were these 3 weirdo Yanks talking about photoshop and having a lot of fun! I went back to episode 1 and watched all earlier episodes. The last episode before Xmas I remember you saying that you would run a short show before New Year. That pleased me a lot because although I obviously did`t know you all, you came across as friendly; the show was such fun it felt like you guys were in the same room! Well that Xmas was shit for me, but you know what, in some truly weird and perhaps unbelievable way, you guys kept me sane back then. Thank you!
So I have to say you unwittingly helped me a lot and so I wish you all the best with all of your projects and hope the show keeps going for a long time!
You know what, I really liked those early days, amateurish in a way, poor video, no set, but a hell of a lot of good honest fun!
Any chance of rebuilding the set?? (:
Nick
Nice try, but…Too fast, no jokes, no repartee, NO FUN
I love PSU TV. It’s the best. I’ve watched and downloaded every episode. I’ve laughed and groaned and learned with you for years. Ah, guys, I love ya. At least the way we’ve always known you . What happened? Did you figure it’s time to grow up? Too bad.
You do deliver content in the new show, all right. But so do thousands of other videos (you, know, the competition). What’s always set you guys apart is that you make it fun, and funny. Painless learning of a complex technical subject. Now what we see are pretty dry tutorials. Excellent tutorials, to be sure, but executed perfectly to a rhythm, as if they’ve been rehearsed many times and recited to a metronome. What we DON’T get is the reason we’ve tuned in over these years: silly banter, corny jokes, real human people talking to each other, good buddies and good times – and plenty of great content. And the “Oops!” factor. A choreographed solo tutorial is hard to keep one’s one’s attention on. Very instructive is watching a real pro processing a real file in real time, slipups, mouse slips, lost selections, under the breath curses and all. It’s SO much more instructive than seeing perfection roll by like a clock.
You’re throwing away your magic ingredient. No one else is capable of your brand of humor. It’s what sets you apart.
And what’s with “10 tips in 10 seconds?” How about “Gone in 5 Seconds,” which is how long it took my brain to vacate this audio-visual speed-a-thon. 10 divided by 10 equals 1 second per tip. You’d give Evelyn Wood a seizure. Sheesh.
Two suggestions:
1. Bring back silly, wacky fun, dumb jokes and cat sounds to PSU TV. Save the straight tutorials for NAPP and Kelby Training.
2. Do the tutorials with all three of you together, like always. Together, you guys are magic. That allows for your patented easy banter and casual repartee. When a tutorial’s getting heavy, one of you will interrupt with an irreverent crack. That allows our brains to slow down and digest.
Of course this is all just my one opinion. I mean no offense or insult. You guys are the greatest. I’m a NAPP member and I’ll keep watching, no matter what. I’m sure I’ll pick up plenty stuff from the new show. The tutorials are excellent. But I will dearly miss the good times.
