I want to do this but I already have the book bundle…wonder if a substitute could happen? Yes, I SO want to subscribe to a year of training! the seminars have been SO awesome and Dave Cross remains as my hero.
Bobbi and Michael,
I didn’t mean to give the wrong impression, but I’m not operating in any kind of official capacity. I’m just another NAPP member/ Kelby fan who happened to see the training deal email. You’d have to ask someone at NAPP about substituting something else for the book bundle. If they can’t substitute, maybe you know someone who’s been really good this year that you could regift it to?
Tamara
oh no, not a problem. actually, i sent an email to kelby training simply to inquire. i am thinking that i will still do it, but it never hurts to ask, right?
i am also taking advantage of the extra months of NAPP membership with the special going on there too. I love NAPP and have been a member since 1999.
I would have like to renew my membership, but online didn’t work and I got tired of listening to the recording at customer service after 20+ minutes (and, I was 1st in queue when I called)!
With out a doubt the membership is worth it. One of the workshops I attended had a great deal to renew so I added another year. I take advantage of all the web sites and also kelbytraining.com. Any one who is new to photography, photoshop, lightroom, etc. should at least try out the kelbytraining site. I also use it to reference subjects that I might only use once in a while.
I just finished signing up for PSW but I have to tell you that your ad is misleading. It makes it sound like we get another $100 if we sign up today.. plus the free workshop class. It wasn’t until after I signed up that I realized the $100 off is the same $100 you get with any early bird sign up. That’s misleading and from what I understand I’m not the only one that misunderstood — your sales people are telling others that lots of folks are saying the same thing.
Scott is the editor-in-chief for Layers Magazine, Photoshop User magazine and the president of NAPP the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
I was wishing for a KelbyTraining deal too … had my cash in hand
Michael,
If you’re a NAPP member, check your email. There’s a Kelby Training discount and book bundle deal.

I too have the books, would love a substitute book bundle or even better price

Already got the book bundle? I’m thinking Christmas gifts!
is NAPP good for Elements users too?
most definitely good for elements users!
You got me.. That is a great deal on NAPP membership. I just joined beause of the great offer..

Ah, finally got the web to accept my order. All is well again!
I always get my NAPP membership $ back in discounts every year, so it’s already a great deal. With 6 extra months added on? No-brainer!

PS, Just shot with the new D3s at 10,000 iso in our local photog store, unbelievable!
The web signup does not work and nobody picks up the phone. Is this the way NAPP works?
