“This Weekend Only” Killer Deal On “Kelby Training Online”
All right you guys—I convinced the crew here to give absolutely the best deal, hands-down, in the history of Kelby Training Online for “This Weekend Only.”
Only $149 for a full year—every trainer, every class (including my new Light it, Shoot it, Retouch it classes), the whole ball of wax. That’s it. Period. No, you can’t combine it with any other discounts, or anything else—just $149 for an entire year (that’s less than $3 a week!).
As usual, this “This Weekend Only” special deal expires at 12:00 midnight EST on this Sunday Night.
>> Here’s the SPECIAL LINK to get this deal (you have to use this link). <<

Hi Scott, just signed up for 12 months online training and first impressions are WOW ! Excellent quality video with easy to understand tutorials. Just watching my first course now. Excellent and thanks for the early christmas present to myself !
I may have to skip reading your blog on Fridays….the deals are just to good to pass up and “I am spending way toooooo much money”…….or is it “I am saving soooo much money.” I listen to every new class as soon as it goes online – even if I don’t think it is something I would be interested in…….usually I am fooled and learn something amazing. It’s so exciting. Great job and thanks to all of you staff.
Thanks for the great deal! I just signed up.
May I extend my current subscription to Kelby Training with this special offer?
Thanks!
Scott,
I did a search on your blog for the word “Christmas” and found no place that you, yourself, mention Christmas. I saw a guest blogger mention a title of a book with the word in it, then Terry mentioned it back in March of this year. It just isn’t there.
I must say I am highly disappointed in you for falling for the commercialization of Christmas with the complete substitution of Christmas with the term “Holiday(s)”. I think we all know that there wouldn’t be any such discussion of gift giving and helping others if Christmas wasn’t this time of year, or even existed in the first place.
I read once in the introduction and credits of one of your books that you are believer in Jesus Christ. I would think that what God’s Word teaches would infiltrate and permeate your business decisions as I am sure it affects your personal decisions with your family and friends. Helping others is fine and dandy; however, if you are not giving the Good News of Jesus Christ when you are expending all this effort in Africa and locally, you are still leaving them lost and without Hope. Works without Christ are simply wood, hay and stubble and are burned in the end.
Please keep this in mind and perhaps you will return to acknowledging that Jesus Christ is the reason for Christmas and not giving, not receiving, not gifts, not helping others (with the exception of helping them know they are lost without Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior). Oh, of course giving, receiving and helping others has their place, but Christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Saviior, Jesus Christ, the only God who became a perfect combination of man and God to go the Cross so that we could believe in Him and live with God forever in eternity.
Feel free to contact me anytime.
Thanks Pat
Pat-I guess for some reason you think Scott’s post called “My I got my favorite Christmas present on Saturday” doesn’t count. http://www.scottkelby.com/blog/2009/archives/3738 or the story about his wife buying him a guitar last Christmas, or any of his other references to Christmas.
I imagine the reason why Scott doesn’t call it a Christmas gift list is because Christians aren’t the only ones buying lenses and photography gear at this time of year.
Pat, I too am a follower of Scott and a Christian. Yes I have heard Scott several times mention he is a Christian. I am confident Scott will address this. In my business (41 year large restaurant) I have put up “Christmas Holiday Season” in my signs for the days we are open. Some customers even question that with the word holiday in it but it’s because New Years is involed also (and I don’t think that has anything to do with Christmas). I’m sure Scott’s being considerate to all his viewers around the world who may be Muslim or whatever but this is a photo related website. I am interested to see Scott’s reaction but I also know (as a Christian) I will not judge him for this. Business requires us make tough descision and some times either one will get you at the end of the day. I hope everyone has a safe and joyous Christmas and takes a lot of great photos!
PS Look in the Aknowledgments page of Scott’s Digital Photography Book and the last one is, quote:”Most importantly, I want to thank God and His son Jesus Christ…..”
Well, it started as a nice day today. Here we go…
ROFL!!!!
The only reason Christmas is celebrated in December is to coincide with Yule. Jesus was born in the spring. The Christians figured if they could move the celebration of the birth of Jesus to the same time as the pagan holiday, perhaps they could convince people to take up Christianity, or more exactly to give up paganism. “Holiday” means holy day. And since when are Christians the only charitable people?
I could get into the whole “Jesus was Jewish” thing, but I won’t feed the trolls.
As a charter subscriber to Kelby Training, I just renewed my subscription yesterday since my renewal was coming due on 12-20. I guress I should have waiting till this weekend.
Bummer!!!
Yippee! I just forwarded the link to my husband since this is the only thing I have asked for this year and he couldn’t resist the $50 savings……thanks for the Christmas or Holiday present or whatever people want to call it! As for the religious conversation I don’t think it really belongs here. This is a photography blog for everyone, Christian or otherwise. Let’s not give Scott any flack for not using the word Christmas please.
Scott, I’m deeply disappointed in you my friend. I’m a firm believer in the Winter Solstice, and yet I see absolutely no mention of the Solstice in any of your so-called marketing materials! While I’m at it, I’m also a follower of Rudolph The Red and am deeply offended at his omission from your literature.
I will drown my sorrows regarding your elitist publications by renewing my subscription at the nearly socialist price of $149!
Thanks for getting the link fixed. Could we please take the religious stuff ‘offline’?
I don’t think Scott has ever “screened”his viewers comments. Go to some of the other folks like Ziser or McNally and it has to be approved first(I still love following these guys). I truly respect Scott for letting everyone speak their minds. Hey, let’s just all get along and learn photog!
Scott,
I wasn’t going to touch this religious debate, until I decided to do a little research myself. Just what is the deal with this Kelby fella and religion? I came across this interesting piece of photo evidence right here on your own blog. Check ‘er out folks!

Still can’t figure out how to renew my current subscription cheaper than $179. Any answers for this Buddhist and the others.
William, I clicked on the link Scott put up at the top that says SPECIAL LINK. That took me right to the cart and it added it. I also made sure I was already logged in with my current account to extend. Sure enough, everything went through fine. I lost money on my CC but gained a great education for another year! Hope this helps.
Did what you did, but nowhere did it say renew vs new subscription. Like the others I do not want to overlap subscriptions.
I apologize for that previous link. Here’s a better one: http://www.trevorjohnston.com/kelby.jpg
I was logged into my account but when I clicked on the special link above it added the regular one year subscription and didn’t indicate anywhere that my current account would be extended another year. When I then added a renewal to my cart it added it at the $179 rate instead. I don’t want to check out with the $149 special deal unless it’s clear this will extend my current subscription.
Any ideas?
I made sure that I was logged into my account and then clicked the link. It added the $149 price. It did not say that it would renew but I figured checked out anyway (assuming Scott would make it right if there was a problem). I checked my status in the “My Account” section and the renewal worked perfectly.
Thanks Scott for a great deal.
Come on now, i’m dissapointed. I took the deal “renew” for 179$ like a week ago. And now there is a lower price again. Whats next, 99$? make up your mind, one price for all.
Wait a second. I just received an email from NAPP offering $159 membership for the online training PLUS Scott Kelby’s book bundle! I would much rather pay $10 more to receive the bonus! What say you, Scott>>>>> I want it all!!!
Is it me or is this blog becoming one big advertising campaign????????
With the Holidays coming up, every Friday for the past few weeks I’ve been trying to get companies to give my readers a special “This weekend only” discount on their products. This week I didn’t have one, so I got my company to offer one.
-Scott
Its all good Scott. Blogs are supposed to be a form of advertising. The best kinds are a win-win of both promoting and providing insights to the readers. Thanks for doing both consistently.
Dang. Just signed up for NAPP and Kelby Training two days ago. Could have saved $30 more!
I’ve been wanting this subscription for a long while now. I just signed up and am going to be living on the training site. I’m so excited! Thanks Scott and all the KelbyTraining talent
Cheers!
Linda
As stated by others, if you are logged in prior to starting the process, when complete the dates of subscription starts as a correct renewal. Thanks to all for the info.
Huzzah! I’m so grateful for this great deal! I’m looking forward to a whole lotta Kelby Training Online!
Sweet, I’m all over this. I was on the verge anyway, and this sealed the deal. Thanks Scott!
Is the price for current napp members discounted to $129.00?
Waiting to hear the answer on this? Shouldn’t current NAPP members get the extra special weekend deal???????
Oh the eternal xmas wank…lol.
Happy holidays, everyone!
So is this $149 deal without the books offered in the recent emails’ $179 deal? If not, I’m torn. Those three books… do I want them for an extra $30? Hmmm. (Two are photoshop books, and one of those is CS3…. Thinking, mulling, considering…)
I’m finally making the plunge and will go over to set up my year right now. I am a NAPP member & could get the year for a few $ more and get 3 books that I already have. Suppose I could sell them, but no, I will just subscribe for the $149 as soon as I click the Submit Comment button Below.
Bummer that your & my wife’s Bucs are doing so bad this year Scott! Always next year.
See ya,
Mike
Humm bummer.. because of computer problems over the weekend I was not able to do this.. Do you think this will be offered again before the holiday.. I would so like to do this.
Oh Noooosss! I told my wife about this but she missed the cut off! Now I might end up getting $149 worth of inkjet paper!!!
Please bring this back!
